⚠️ Quick Autumn Pet Safety Reminder! 🍂 🍄
While out on our walks this week, we've noticed a lot of acorns and conkers on the ground.
Did you know these can actually be highly toxic to dogs if chewed or swallowed?
They can also cause dangerous blockages in smaller pups. Keep a close eye on your furry friends during your weekend strolls!
Wild mushrooms 🍄
The damp British autumn weather causes a massive surge in wild fungi across woodlands, lawns, and tree stumps. Some native species can cause rapid organ failure. Because toxic mushrooms are very difficult to visually distinguish from harmless ones, vets advise treating all wild fungi as highly dangerous.
Luckily all of the dogs we walk are most interested in the tasty treats we have and playing with each other.
We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled and enjoying plenty more lovely autumn adventures together! 🍂🫶🏻
