Apologies to anyone that I might have forgotten/not got back to as fast as usual.

This recent spell of crazy hot weather / summer ☀️ we have had has been completely unprecedented. It has lead me to have rearrange my work schedule pretty much daily.

I have been experiencing a far higher than usual cancellation rate due to horses with foot bruising/ lateness related issues from the hard ground etc, usually right at the last minute.

Because of the rising fuel prices again, which noone seems to be mentioning ? I have to try and make my routes as logical as possible.

I know there are a few people that might have got lost along the way and I am truly sorry. So if you haven't had a reply for me I can assure you that it is not intentional. I have been as the saying goes flying by the seat of my pants for the last couple of months!!! I am hoping with it beginning to rain 🌧 occasionally and the children retuning to school next week, things hopefully should settle down a bit !!

I do my absolute best to get back to everyone, but i have alot of ways that people can get hold of me . Telephone, WhatsApp, text, email 📧, messenger x2 and some times it's hard to keep up with them all 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈🙈🙈🙈. Its so easy to read a what's app and think I will deal with that later and before you know it its 25 messages down and has disappeared into the abyss 🤣🙈🙈

So please please if you haven't heard from me or need an appointment please give a ring or a nudge you won't be pestering me and I will be pleased to hear from you.

The lovely little show saddle I fitted the other day on orange pony day did the trick. Congratulations to Scarlet and her gorgeous pony. Clearly smashing it first time back out showing at Chertsey Agricultural show. Don't they both look amazing 😍

Its not all horses here at Jigsaw Saddles

Bailey the cat 🐈 was annoyed he hadn't been mentioned for a while. So he came up with a way to change that!!

Whilst trying to do my invoicing apparently I wasn't paying him enough attention. So the invoices got it.

I love the caught red handed photo as if to say " What I wasnt shredding your paperwork, it jumped into my paws all by itself "🤣🤣

Yesterday was an orange 🍊 pony kind of a day with Pip in the morning then I finished the day by fitting this lovely Ideal show saddle that had a full reflock. How lovely does it look.

No pressure as the owners had their return to the show ring 48hours later !!

Beach time with 2 of my horses

Everyone is always asking about my horses. So I thought I should post a bit more about them and what we get upto on here ! With the ground so hard, a trip to the beach was in order for a good gallop. Matt Ketcher did his first ever beach trip on my connemara Ash whilst Rosie and I clocked up some serous speed and did lots of splashing!
Sophie Martins did her first ever ride on the beach and watched the sunset on Ash. I will post the photos on a separate post as for some reason it wont let me mix them !

Who remembers Pip the little orange section A with the sway back. Yesterday I went back to do his recheck. As you can see Pip and his little rider we very happy.

Its amazing that underneath that saddle is a high wither and a big curve. That was balanced with internal wedges along the bottom of the tree and then external ones in the little black pad that you see underneath the saddle, which can be easily changed. Pip was quite sceptical of me like he is with all new people, but when I went back yesterday we had lots of cuddles and even kisses 💋 One of the most rewarding parts of this job is when the horses and ponies I see are so happy to see you when you return as they know that you have helped and made a difference.
