🦊Fox alert 🦊

💔 Meet Wisdom and Wise… two little souls who have already seen far too much in their short lives.

These beautiful, loving kittens were part of a family of five siblings and their mom. Sadly, they were cruelly abandoned and left to fend for themselves.

Then the unthinkable happened. 💔

Three of their siblings were taken by foxes.

Their mom disappeared too, and we have no idea what happened to her. We don’t know whether she was taken by a fox or whether, frightened and desperate, she simply fled and never came back.

And somehow, through all of this, Wisdom and Wise survived.

They are the most beautiful, trusting little pair. Despite everything they have experienced, they still have love to give. They still trust people. And that is what breaks our hearts the most , wondering what they have witnessed and what they must have felt, being so tiny and completely helpless. 😢

Thankfully, these two have now been given a second chance. They were place in temporary foster care and will begin their veterinary treatment very soon. ❤️🐾

Fox attacks on cats, are unusual, but sadly we are seeing them more frequently. We can’t help but wonder whether the loss of the old-style black bin bags, which provided foxes with opportunities to scavenge, and the widespread use of wheelie bins have contributed to this.

If you do feed foxes, please, where possible, do so well away from residential homes and areas where cats are living. A well-fed fox may be less likely to venture into gardens and search for food where vulnerable animals are present.

We cannot change what happened to Wisdom and Wise's family.

But we can make sure these two little survivors never have to know fear, hunger or abandonment again. ❤️

They deserve nothing less than a safe home, a warm bed and a lifetime of love.

Please keep these two beautiful babies in your thoughts. 🐾❤️

💔 HOW CAN ANYONE DO THIS?

Two innocent rabbits were found abandoned in a box on wasteland. A kind lady spotted the box moving and thankfully stopped to investigate. She got them to safety, but can only keep them until tomorrow.

Thankfully, one of our wonderful rabbit fosters from the past has stepped forward again and offered them a safe place. ❤️ After everything these two have already been through, we’re so grateful.

Now we wait to find out their s*x, health and condition.

And I’m honestly hoping and praying they aren’t two females… and that neither is pregnant. 🙏💔

Because if they are, we could suddenly be facing lots and lots of little mouths needing safe homes.

So we don’t need foster homes just yet — but please, if you have a large hutch with a run or a spare indoor space, dust off those cobwebs and keep us in mind. 🕸️🐰

🤞 Best case scenario: two healthy, same-s*x, bonded rabbits… and NO babies.

After being thrown away like rubbish, these two deserve so much better.

Petsearch Rescue predominantly care for cats but we also rescue birds, rabbits and other small animals who love enrichment!

Why not get creative with the children or if you’re a crafter? Cardboard tubes filled with shredded paper, apple tree fresh twiggs, cardboard toys and other safe creations can provide lots of fun. 🎨

You’re welcome to come and gift your handmade creations to our birds or rabbits. 🐦🐰💚 even say hello to some of the cats at the same time.
