Little Pixel 🩵🥹
Some patients really do grow up in front of our eyes!
We first met Pixel when she was only 12 days old - tiny enough to fit in Vet Noemi's hand 🐾
Fast forward to almost 12 weeks old, and look at her now! Growing bigger, braver and somehow more adorable 🥰🐶

❤️ 29th September – World Heart Day ❤️

Today is World Heart Day — a great opportunity to think about heart health, for our beloved pets. 🐾

Heart problems can affect dogs and cats of all ages. Some conditions may have obvious signs, while others can develop quietly and only become noticeable during a routine health check.

👩‍⚕️ Prevention, early detection and good management can make a real difference.
Keep an eye out for possible signs of heart disease in your pet, such as:

🐶 Reduced exercise tolerance or tiring easily
🐱 Breathing difficulties or rapid breathing
❤️ Coughing
🐾 Weakness, collapse or fainting
🍽️ Changes in appetite or unexplained weight loss

If you notice anything unusual, or you're concerned about your pet's heart health, please call us. A routine examination can sometimes pick up subtle changes before they become more serious.

🐱🧬 19th September – Cat DNA Day! 🧬🐱

Did you know our domestic cats have some fascinating wild relatives?

🐾 Cats are genetically closely linked to the African wildcat and other wildcat species — and they even share around 95.6% of their DNA with tigers! 🐯

So, behind those sleepy cuddles and cute little faces is a tiny predator with some seriously wild genes! 😸❤️

How much of a tiger do you think your cat has in them? 🐾🐯
