The "Lace Litter" are Looking for Their Forever Homes! 🧶✨

Born on April 14, 2026, to their wonderful mom, Lacie, these five little bundles of energy are officially ready to embark on their next big adventure: joining their forever families!

These kittens have been raised in a loving home, are thriving, and have mastered the "kitten motto": Today the room, tomorrow the world! They are confident, healthy, exceptionally good at being "little chunks," and have fantastic appetites.
Meet the Litter & Their Best Buddies
Each kitten is named after the art of lace making and has a personality as unique as their names. Because they are so social, they have naturally formed close bonds and love to play and snooze in their favourite pairings:

• The Chunky Duo: Blonde & Bobbin
◦ Blonde: Our only boy! He is one of the two chunkiest kittens in the litter, has a beautiful pale tabby nose, and a very distinct, sweet meow.
◦ Bobbin: The heaviest girl of the bunch. Sporting a dark tabby nose, this little chunk loves her meals and is rarely far from her brother, Blonde.

• The Partners-in-Mischief: Crochet & Doily
◦ Crochet: A lovely little tabby girl with a distinct, cute spot right on her nose. She loves to race around and pair up with Doily.
◦ Doily: The girl with the plain white nose. Doily is our resident explorer—if something is happening anywhere in the room, you can bet she and Crochet are right in the middle of it!

• The Social Butterfly: Ribbons
◦ Ribbons: A gorgeous black and white girl who is arguably the most adorable thing you've ever seen. She has perfected a look of pure innocence, no matter what mischief she’s just been caught doing! Ribbons is best friends with absolutely everyone and floats between the groups spreading love.
Kitten Hobbies
These typical adventurous kittens live life at full throttle. Their days are filled with climbing, racing around the room, and epic wrestling matches. They also equally love enthusiastically excavating in their kitty litter! Once they are completely tuckered out from all the fun, they immediately pile into one big kitten heap for a hard-earned, cosy snooze.

Adoption Details
These adventurous, playful kittens are incredibly close and thrive on companionship. Because of this, we are highly prioritising homes where they can be adopted in their established pairs (Blonde & Bobbin, or Crochet & Doily), or where Ribbons can go with a sibling or join a home with another friendly young cat.

🐾 How Our Adoption Days Work! 🐾

We get a lot of questions about how our adoption days run, so we wanted to share a quick behind-the-scenes look at how we get our cats from foster care into their forever homes.
Unlike larger funded shelters, we don't have a public cattery where you can just pop in and browse.

Because we are 100% volunteer-run, our process is structured a little differently to keep things stress-free for both our hard-working team and, most importantly, the cats!

Here is everything you need to know about how the magic happens:
1️⃣ It All Starts with the Application & Home Check
Before you can attend an adoption day, you need to have a completed application and an approved home check under your belt.
• The Home Check: Usually virtual! We will ask for photos of your main living areas and your garden or secure outdoor space (or a physical visit if a volunteer is local to you).
• The Application: This covers the basics like property status (landlord permission if renting), household members, working hours, and details on any current pets.

2️⃣ Appointment Only (No Walk-Ins!)
Our adoption days are strictly by appointment for a specific cat you have applied for and been matched with.

Because many of our cats live in loving foster homes until they are ready for adoption, our volunteers specifically transport them to the event just to meet you! Because of this, we can't accommodate walk-ins or general viewing.

3️⃣ Securing Your Slot
To protect our volunteers' time and ensure we don't have any empty slots that could have gone to another waiting family, we require a non-refundable appointment deposit to lock in your time. Don't worry—this is fully deducted from your final adoption fee!

4️⃣ Meet & Adopt on the Same Day!
We know how exciting it is to welcome a new pet, so we try to make things as convenient as possible. Meetings usually take place from our HQ, or at a local foster home.

If you and your chosen cat are a perfect match during the meeting, our goal is generally to complete both the meet and the adoption on the exact same day—meaning you get to take your new family member straight home!

◦ Twixy is the boldest of the trio. He is always the first to set off on a new mission, leading the way with absolute curiosity and confidence. If there are feathers or toys that make noise, Twixy is there!
◦ Yorkie is a bit more laid-back and gentle. He looks to his brother for reassurance and gains confidence from having him around.
• Home Preference: These two absolutely love each other, and you’ll often find them grooming each other, curled up in a snooze, or causing mischief together. A home together would be amazing for them, but they can be separated if the right energetic homes come along for them individually.
