🚨 Rescue Update – Meet Honey ❤️🐾

Firstly, we want to say a huge thank you to every single person who shared our appeal, offered transport, a foster home, donations, or simply supported us over the last 24 hours. The response has been absolutely incredible, and we're so grateful to each and every one of you.

As many of you know, we stepped in to help save dogs from heartbreaking neglect and truly appalling living conditions. The husky you all saw has now found her forever home with Shannon, where she will receive all the love and care she deserves. We couldn't be happier for her. ❤️

Now we'd like you all to meet sweet Honey. 🐾

At this stage, we don't know a great deal about Honey. She is believed to be around 2 years old and appears to be a Terrier-type cross although her exact breed is unknown.

Honey is currently making her way to us after spending last night safely with our wonderful transport volunteer, Lauren, before continuing the final part of her journey into our care.

Sadly, we've been told that Honey's body condition is actually much worse than the husky's. Every bone can be felt through her tiny body, although her coat hides just how underweight she really is in photographs. It is absolutely heartbreaking to think about what this little girl has endured.

We've also been informed that Honey has not eaten anything since being rescued. Whilst this can be quite common in dogs that have suffered severe neglect and are experiencing the stress of such a huge change, it is still very concerning given her condition.

As soon as Honey arrives, she will be staying with one of our team while we carry out our initial assessments and monitor her closely. We'll begin introducing small amounts of easily digestible food, including freshly cooked chicken, to try and encourage her appetite in a safe and controlled way. If there are any concerns, she will receive immediate veterinary treatment. Our priority is getting this beautiful girl comfortable, feeling safe, and starting her road to recovery.

We promise to keep you all updated every step of the way as we learn more about Honey and begin giving her the love and care she has been denied for far too long.

❤️ A Huge Thank You! ❤️

A massive thank you to McKenzie, who is currently on her way to collect our emergency dogs. 🐾❤️

At the moment, it's still unclear whether the Husky will be coming into our care, as Shannon Benstead has managed to find a suitable alternative placement. While we're waiting for confirmation on that, we do know that the other little fluffball will be coming into United Paws Rescue's care. 🥰

Once again, we are completely blown away by the incredible support we've received. The number of people who were willing to drop everything to help with transport has been truly overwhelming, and we can't thank you all enough. ❤️

Unfortunately, this was an extremely time-sensitive situation, so arrangements had to be made as quickly as possible to get the dogs to safety.

The dog(s) will be staying with Lauren overnight before travelling on to their foster home tomorrow morning, where they can finally begin the next chapter of their journey.

Shannon, if you see this, please get in touch with us as soon as possible regarding the two dogs.

✅ Transport has now been arranged and everything is in place to get them safely to their emergency foster homes. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to contact you, and we urgently need to speak with you to coordinate everything.

If anyone knows Shannon or is able to get this message to her, please ask her to contact United Paws Rescue as soon as possible.

🚨 URGENT TRANSPORT APPEAL🚨🐾

We have emergency foster homes secured for these dogs ❤️ but we urgently need help getting them safely from Ashford, TN23 area to their foster homes in Walsall WS1 & WS5 areas**.

We are looking for transport volunteers who may be able to help with all or part of the journey. Even if you can only cover a section of the route, your help could make a huge difference.

These dogs have been through so much and now finally have a safe place waiting for them we just need to get them there. 🐶❤️

🚨 URGENT APPEAL – 2 DOGS NEED OUR HELP NOW 🚨

We have an emergency situation and we desperately need your help. We have been made aware of 2 dogs who are in urgent need of rescue. One of them is a Husky who is extremely weak and lethargic and will need to be taken straight to a vet for assessment and treatment. 💔

Shannon Benstead is currently on her way to retrieve these dogs from the conditions they have been living in, but we cannot do this alone.

We urgently need:

🐾 Emergency foster homes
🐾 Transport volunteers to help move these dogs safely
🐾 A foster placement for the Husky once he is discharged from the vets

⚠️ Foster requirements:

Must be a pet-free home
No children
Adult-only household
Preferably someone with rescue or dog experience
Dogs will need to be quarantined as we know very little about their history and health at this stage

These dogs have clearly been through a lot and they need safety, patience and care now more than ever. We do not yet know everything they have faced, but we do know they need us. ❤️

🐾 A little update on our beautiful female puppy 🐾

We just wanted to let everyone know that we will be making a decision on her forever home very soon.

This has honestly been one of the hardest decisions we have had to make. We have been completely overwhelmed by the amount of love, support and wonderful applications we have received for her. Every single person who took the time to apply has shown how much they care, and we truly wish we could give every one of you the chance to welcome her into your family. 💕

Choosing the right home for our dogs is never just about picking an applicant it’s about finding the perfect match, the home that fits their needs, personality and future. This little girl deserves nothing less than the very best. 🐶

To everyone who has applied, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Please don’t be disheartened if you aren’t chosen on this occasion. We will continue to share dogs looking for their forever homes, and if you see another dog you feel could be the right fit, please don’t hesitate to get back in touch we haven’t closed the door on you. ❤️

✨ We honestly don't know where to begin... thank you. ✨

The kindness and generosity you've shown us recently has been truly overwhelming. Every donation, every parcel, every share and every message of support means the world to us—and to the dogs in our care. ❤️

Because of your incredible support, we've received so many food donations that we've been able to remove a large number of food items from our Amazon Wishlist. For the first time in a while, food is no longer one of our most urgent needs, and that's all thanks to you.

And that's not all...

💙 Our GoFundMe has now reached £428! Just a few days ago we had raised around £200, so to see it more than double in such a short space of time is simply amazing.

The funds raised are going directly towards Bruno's veterinary costs. We'll be sharing an update on Bruno over the coming days... and we're so happy to say it's good news! 🐾❤️

If there's anything left once Bruno's treatment has been covered, every penny will be kept aside to help with the unexpected veterinary costs that inevitably come with rescuing dogs. Having that safety net means we can say "yes" to the dogs who need us most, without hesitation.

As our needs change, we've updated our Amazon Wishlist to reflect what we're currently running low on. Right now, some of our most-needed items are:

Many of the dogs who arrive in our care come with absolutely nothing. No lead. No bowls. No bed. Rarely even a toy to call their own. Fresh, cosy blankets help frightened dogs feel safe and comfortable during those first few days with us, and they're something we go through very quickly.

One thing we never compromise on is their health. Every dog is flea and worm treated as soon as they arrive, so these treatments are always in constant demand.

To every single person who has donated, purchased from our wishlist, shared our posts, or simply supported us along the way—thank you. Your kindness is giving these dogs a second chance, and we genuinely couldn't do it without you.

✨ SHE WAITED... AND TODAY HER WAIT WAS FINALLY OVER. ✨

For 2 long months, Tala watched other dogs find their forever homes while she patiently waited for someone to choose her. Every day we hoped the right family would come along... and today, they finally did. ❤️

The moment they met, it was clear she had found her people. There were plenty of tail wags, cuddles, and smiles all around, and it didn't take long for everyone to know she was exactly where she was meant to be.

Today, Tala left United Paws Rescue and began the next chapter of her life with a family who already adore her. 🏡🐾

In all the excitement, we completely forgot to get the traditional photo with her new family before they left (we're blaming the excitement! 😂), but here she is after arriving safely at home, already making herself comfortable.

And there's one more exciting update...

Tala has a brand-new name... say hello to TIANA! 💕
