Poor Rosie. ππΎ
Whenever one of my pack dogs is hurt by another dog, my immediate reaction is to rip the attacking dog owner's head off. π π’
To help Rosie, her pack is more important than ever, helping her become balanced again. πβπ¦Ίβ¨
Now, for Rosie, we must get her around dogs and show her that the attack was a moment, that it is gone, and that she needs to move on, rebuilding her confidence and playful nature. πΎππ».
As for us humans, we are built differently, so after something like this, I always change what I need to:
πΈοΈIf another dog attacked, what would I do? π§ ππ‘οΈ
πΈοΈI must advocate more when needed to ensure my dog feels protected. πΎπβπ¦Ίβ
πΈοΈI will check my recall to make sure it is bombproof or use a long line. πβπ¦ΊβοΈβ¨
As many of my clients know, I always prepare for the worst and hope for the best. π€ππ
But welcome to life; these are the moments you cannot train for. ππΎπ
