UPDATE 2.2.17

Thank you to everyone who shared this post, we have now made contact with this little one's owner.

Unfortunately this poor mite had been seriously injured following a road collision. Despite our best efforts to treat him, we could not control his pain, and so today made the difficult decision to put him to sleep.

We would also like to thank the kind people who brought him in to us after witnessing his accident. Although this is not the outcome we wanted, at least we were able to make him as comfortable as possible in his final hours.
