On top of Isla being ill we had idiot Crinkles in a bad accident,we have no idea how she managed it but all of a sudden she was standing at inside gate with her right front paw shredded! 🙈.
It was a hospital appointment day so had to take her in in afternoon and brilliant Abby put her back together with 90 minute surgery and half an hour to wrap it up. Daily cleaning, dressings, painkillers and antibiotics and now she is looking so much better. Still not using the foot 100% but better than it was. In 7 yrs it has been her only vet visit 🩷

Well, now that all seems to be OK we can tell you the story about wee Isla.
The weekend we got her she seemed to be dreadfully ill and we thought she was actually going to die. After a few days care she came good though was rather tiny and had no character, just lay and slept. When she got to 11 weeks we seriously considered having her pts as she was so ill, she was acting strange had only gained 50grammes in a week but we went ahead with second vaccine,we had her DNA and health tests done and the next week she still wasn't great on having her rechecked. Well, fast forward 2 weeks and she is doing amazingly well, vet thinks she may have had some kind of a bug and she has now fought through it as she is just like every other puppy, full of naughtiness and fun. Her heath and breed DNA came back and she has zero health concerns and is a 4th generation 100% mini schnauzer, though think she will be a mini mini!!
It has been hard work and heartbreak but we were prepared and ready for it. She is now a full time house dog with her big pal Pepe. 🩷💙
And yes, that is fleeces they are wearing!! 🤣🤣
