🐕 ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL IN DOG TRAINING! 🐾
One of the biggest mistakes in dog training is using the same method for every breed and every behaviour.
Different breeds have different instincts, temperaments and needs. A Border Collie, a Beagle and a guarding breed won't necessarily respond to the same approach.
Likewise, a dog reacting out of fear needs a different approach from one reacting out of excitement or frustration. Treating every behaviour the same way can mean addressing the symptoms without understanding the cause.
Good dog training is about understanding the individual dog, not forcing every dog to fit the same method.
The best trainers adapt their approach to the dog's breed, personality, experiences and behaviour. Because what works for one dog might not work for another! 🐶
