Hi, my name is Marcia, owner of Dapper Dogs! I am a 1-1 qualified dog groomer with a City and Guilds Level 2 qualification and I am currently studying for my Level 3. I completed my training at Canis Finest Dog Grooming, a Pet Industry Federation approved training centre in Witney, Oxfordshire. I spent many years working in the corporate world and then had the opportunity to have a change of caree

r, so with a love of dogs I decided to train to be a dog groomer, which I love! I have had a love of animals since being a child, mainly due to the various dogs that my parents rescued when I was growing up, they were all sizes, mix breeds and temperaments so I'm used to handling all types of dogs! When I had a family of my own my first dog was a liver and white English Springer Spaniel called Jasper, who was the heart of my family for 13 and a half years. I now have an English Cocker Spaniel called Mabel who is 4 years old. Mabel is reactive and anxious in most areas of her life, so owning an anxious dog has given me the understanding of how to handle them with a lot of patience, understanding and knowledge of how to create a calm and safe environment for them in an unfamiliar situation. I own a small salon in Bicester where I only groom one dog at a time and I have state of the art equipment and products. If you'd like to book in or have any questions, please message me on my page!

Dapper Dogs is getting increasingly busy, so I just wanted to give everyone a little reminder to book your next groom (or even your next two!) at your upcoming appointment. 🐶❤️

Our diary is filling up quickly and unfortunately I’m not always able to accommodate last minute bookings, especially for regular appointment slots.

Booking ahead means you can secure the day and time that works best for you and most importantly, make sure your pooch stays lovely and tidy without having to worry about finding a last minute appointment! 🥰

🐾 WE NEED FOSTER CARERS 🐾

We have a constant (and growing) waiting list of dogs who desperately need our help.

Many have been abandoned, unwanted and let down by the people they trusted 💔

We’re desperate to give them the second chance they deserve but we can only say yes when we have loving foster homes ready for them.

Fostering gives a dog somewhere safe to heal, feel loved and learn what it means to be part of a family.

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need patience, compassion and a safe, loving home. And you won’t be alone - One Wish provides the essentials and supports you throughout their stay.

Please keep your dog’s well hydrated and please don’t put a wet towel on their back as this traps the heat in.

Anyone wanting a springer spaniel pup? This cutie is a very sweet girl, a beautiful soul that needs a home of course. Shes afraid of loud noises and wants to play instead of hunting so she was given to us a few weeks ago but we never had the chance of posting her. Shes around 7-8 months so still a pup and will be around 15 kgs when adult. Shes fine with humans, dogs and fine for now with cats but she tends to try and chase them.
She can be adopted abroad or locally, we dont mind. As long as its a home that will love and take care of her, we 're alright with the country she will go. If anyone want to adopt her, please message us. We 'll send you an application form to fill and we do homechecks.

Bella came in for a de shed groom to make her hopefully feel a bit cooler.

Bella isn’t a fan of being groomed so we take nice and slow with her to make sure she is comfortable.
