Ever wondered why you see a lot of Snoopy on our page, but not quite so many of our actual guests?

Well…….

There’s a reason for that. We take our customers’ privacy and the security of the animals in our care seriously.

We don’t want to publicly advertise exactly which pets are staying with us, who they belong to, or potentially make it obvious that someone may be away from home. We also don’t think it’s sensible to broadcast which dogs we currently have onsite.

So while we do share the occasional photo, we’re deliberately careful about what we post and when we post it.

We much prefer to send updates to our customers privately via WhatsApp or email to let you know how they are during their stay with us.

Snoopy, on the other hand, is fair game. 😂 We’re fairly confident nobody will attempt to steal him because he’s not exactly welcoming to strangers… and if they did, they’d probably bring him back fairly quickly. 🐾

We’re finally joining the 21st century and moving onto a proper computer system!

Please bear with us while we get everyone transferred over. You may suddenly receive the odd random email from us — please don’t be alarmed. Snoopy has fat toe beans and is currently in charge of IT. 🤓🐾

A bit of an update from me 🐾

I really didn’t want to be making another price post, but unfortunately Button Oak Kennels & Cattery became VAT registered from 1st September, which has meant a pretty significant change for the business.

I’ve gone backwards and forwards over the prices because I don’t want to suddenly hit everyone with a huge increase, but I also can’t absorb all of the extra cost myself.

So from now, our prices will be:

🐶 Dogs — £32 per day
🐱 Cats — £17 per day

I know it’s a noticeable jump and I genuinely hate having to do it, but it’s unfortunately something I now have to account for.

Thank you, as always, for supporting me and the business. It really does mean a lot. ❤️

Reading these makes it all worth while ❤️

I have always had extremely high standards when it comes to looking after someone’s pets.
And that’s how it should always be. The pets deserve to be comfortable and happy and enjoy their time away from their owners, which then allows the owners to enjoy their holiday.

And that’s why we stand out from others. I read things often about other kennels and it really gets under my skin because there is no excuse for pets to be losing weight, dirty and smelly, or handing back soiled bedding or saying you have lost their belongings!
It always baffles me as to how!? If the establishment is ran properly and efficiently and the animals constantly observed and hands on with them, then these things should not be happening!

For guests travelling with us, their holiday can start before they even arrive! 🐶

Our canine passengers get to enjoy a Puppuccino pit stop on the journey to Button Oak Kennels & Cattery. ☕🐾

Of course, owners are always asked for permission first before we treat them.

Gave our quality control one to test out…..

However…….. Snoopy had other ideas 🫣
