Alena, our kennel & cattery manager, is brilliant at getting photos of our guests and has managed to capture some lovely moments while theyā€™ve been staying with us.

So rather than pretending weā€™re organised enough to post them all individually, hereā€™s one big photo dump of dogs and cats enjoying their holidays. šŸ¶šŸ±

Weā€™re wondering if any of our wonderful customers have any old towels, sheets or blankets that are looking for a new home.

They donā€™t need to be perfect ā€” as long as theyā€™re clean and usable, we can put them to very good use here at Button Oak Kennels & Cattery. šŸ¶šŸ±

So before you throw them away or take them to the charity shop, weā€™d be very grateful to take them off your hands! ā¤ļø

ā€¼ļø PAYMENT UPDATE ā€¼ļø

You literally canā€™t make this up!!

Because apparently changing over to a Limited Company wasnā€™t complicated enough alreadyā€¦ my bank has now decided to add another little plot twist šŸ™ƒ

Iā€™ve been told I can no longer use my existing business account and have had to open a new Ltd account.

Iā€™ve also now been told Iā€™m not eligible for a card machine on the Ltd account, despite already having one on my current account. Excellent. šŸ˜‚

So for the moment, if you normally pay by bank transfer, please wait until I send you the correct payment details.

Card payments may also be unavailable while I try to get this mess sorted.

Iā€™m really sorry for the inconvenience and any confusion, especially for customers due to collect soon. I know a lot of you normally pay beforehand and Iā€™ll make sure everyone is given the correct information individually.

Thank you for bearing with me while I argue with technology, banking and apparently common sense. šŸ«

Ever wondered why you see a lot of Snoopy on our page, but not quite so many of our actual guests?

Wellā€¦ā€¦.

Thereā€™s a reason for that. We take our customersā€™ privacy and the security of the animals in our care seriously.

We donā€™t want to publicly advertise exactly which pets are staying with us, who they belong to, or potentially make it obvious that someone may be away from home. We also donā€™t think itā€™s sensible to broadcast which dogs we currently have onsite.

So while we do share the occasional photo, weā€™re deliberately careful about what we post and when we post it.

We much prefer to send updates to our customers privately via WhatsApp or email to let you know how they are during their stay with us.

Snoopy, on the other hand, is fair game. šŸ˜‚ Weā€™re fairly confident nobody will attempt to steal him because heā€™s not exactly welcoming to strangersā€¦ and if they did, theyā€™d probably bring him back fairly quickly. šŸ¾
