‼️ Please keep in mind my appointment slots for next year will be halved - which means there will be half the slots there were this year 🚨
In other words, please
Don’t leave it until last the last minute to let me know you’d like to continue with your appointments.
Once those slots have gone, I’m closing my books ♥️

✨ THE 2027 DIARY IS OPEN! ✨

Well… I wasn’t actually planning on opening the 2027 diary until October, BUT so many of you have been asking already that I’ve decided to open it earlier than planned! 🥰

I know how much you all like to be organised and get those appointments in the diary, and I genuinely appreciate that. ❤️

A little bit of important information for 2027…

📅 My usual working days will now be Monday–Thursday, 8am–5pm.

There will be the occasional Saturday morning, but the schedule for these is still to be finalised. Saturday appointments will strictly be for existing clients who genuinely cannot make a midweek appointment. 🤍

There may also be the occasional option for an appointment outside of my usual working hours, but this will be very much on an individual, prior-arrangement basis and will depend on availability. Where I am able to offer this, there will be an additional charge on top of the usual grooming price.

As previously announced, there will also be a price increase for 2027. This is largely due to increased costs I now incur from suppliers, energy costs etc, but also due to the fact that some of my prices are from my training price structure and I’ve never changed them. 🥴

I completely understand that with changes to prices and working hours, things may not suit everyone, and that’s absolutely okay. ❤️ I really appreciate everyone’s continued support and completely understand that everyone has different circumstances and budgets.

The changes to my working hours are really about finding a better balance between work and family life.

I feel incredibly lucky to be as busy as I am, especially when I know many salons are finding things much harder at the moment. I never take that for granted.

But… I’m only one person, and there are only so many hours in the day!

I’m a perfectionist (as I’m sure many of you will have noticed 😂), and I absolutely hate feeling rushed. I want to have the time to do things properly, give every dog the attention they deserve and, most importantly, enjoy what I do.

I LOVE my job. ❤️

And I want to keep it that way.
I’d much rather have a slightly smaller diary that allows me to give you and your dogs the service, care and attention I pride myself on.

❤️ A little personal update

Just a little note to let you all know that my daughter has had surgery this week, so things have been a little different behind the scenes here at Fluff & Buff.

I’ve had to rearrange appointments and disrupt the schedule at short notice, and I genuinely cannot thank my wonderful clients enough for being so understanding, patient and flexible. 🥹❤️

I know everyone has busy lives and plans, so I really do appreciate you allowing me the time I’ve needed to be there for Lily.

Things may be a little up and down over the next few days while she recovers, but I’m doing my best to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.

Thank you, as always, for being such a brilliant bunch of clients. Your kindness and understanding mean more than you know. ❤️🐾

💤 PUPPY SCHOOL… OR PUPPY SLEEP CLUB?! 😂🐶

Little Lemon has been coming along to her Fluff & Buff Puppy School sessions, learning all the important things… handling, grooming, confidence, being a good girl…

But apparently napping is also on the curriculum. 🤣

There’s nothing quite like watching a puppy go from “Ooooh, what are we doing?!” to “Actually… I’ll just have a little lie down.” 😴💤

Lemon has quite literally been falling asleep during her puppy intro sessions — and honestly, I think she’s nailed the whole relax and enjoy your groom part! 😂

The dream is a puppy who feels safe, comfortable and happy in the salon… even if that means they’re catching 40 winks while I’m doing my thing! 🥹❤️

Lemon: 10/10 for cuteness.
Puppy school: 10/10.
Staying awake: must try harder. 😂🐾

September Appointments — Deposit Reminder 🐾

A little reminder that deposits for all September appointments are now due. 💷🐶

Please make sure your deposit is paid by Sunday 30th August to secure your September appointment.

As always, deposits are what secure your slot in my diary, so if your deposit isn’t received by the deadline, your appointment may be released to someone else.

I know September seems a little way away, but my diary is very full, so please don’t leave it until the last minute. ❤️

Spark has a completely different coat type to Bobby, so I had a different canvas to work with — but I think we nailed the teddy bear vibes! ✂️🐻
