Wow - I am overwhelmed with the amount of enquiries received regarding Merlin!

Merlin – 2-year-old Maine C**n looking for his forever home 🐾

It is with a very heavy heart that Merlin is looking for a new home due to a change in his family’s circumstances. This is absolutely no fault of Merlin’s, and his family’s priority is finding him the right home where he can continue to thrive and receive the time, attention and companionship he deserves.

Merlin was born in September 2024 and is the son of Cosmic and Sol. He is a beautiful, much-loved boy who is now looking for a special forever home.

He is:
• 2 years old
• Neutered
• Fully vaccinated and up to date with his boosters
• Up to date with flea and worming treatments
• Health tested with clear results
• Currently living as the only cat in the household

Merlin would ideally suit a home with a secure garden or catio, giving him the opportunity to enjoy safe outdoor time. He could potentially be introduced to other cats, although this would need to be assessed carefully and done gradually as he is currently an only cat.

As a Maine C**n, Merlin needs a home that understands the breed and is able to give him the companionship, interaction and enrichment he needs. His family want to make sure that his next home is genuinely the right one for him, rather than simply finding him somewhere quickly.

This is an incredibly difficult and upsetting decision for Merlin’s family, and it is being made purely because their circumstances have changed and they no longer feel able to give Merlin the time and attention he deserves. It is absolutely not a decision they have taken lightly.

Please, no negative or judgemental comments. The family are already finding this situation extremely upsetting and are doing what they believe is best for Merlin. We simply want to focus on finding him a wonderful, loving forever home.
