So 5 month old pupster Ruby the Bordoodle came to see me again today.

Ruby has struggled with the grooming process, so she's visiting quite regularly at the moment so we can keep building her confidence.

Today I called upon my own dog Rory, so he could act as a bit of a distraction for her. This worked really well and she did seem more settled.

I managed to get everything done. She did like laying down, but we worked with that! If this is how she's most comfortable whilst getting used to it then so be it...🤷‍♀️

Now the groom isn't perfect by any stretch, but what is more important is that Ruby left the pod feeling a bit braver and more confident 🙂

So our poor Fred Fred has been the victim of those horrible, pesky grass seeds.

He was shaking his head a lot and was just generally not feeling himself. The vets had to sedate him and they found a grass seed embedded deep in his ear 🥺

Poor lad was feeling so sorry for himself when he came home, but thankfully this morning he's feeling more like himself.

He is not the first doggo this season who's had to go under to get a grass seed removed.

Please check your doggos after every walk paying extra close attention to in-between toes, armpits and ears. See my stories to see more info...
