Missing from Fyfield Road, Thatcham

TC (as in Top Cat) has been missing since Friday 22nd May.
He was last seen about dinner time. This is very unlike him as he's never not come home.

He's black with a little white patch on his chest and was wearing a red, reflective collar. He is microchipped. He's quite a shy boy and is 12 years old.

Please check gardens, garages, sheds and outbuildings in case he has become trapped somewhere.
Id you see him or have any information, please call Clare on 07785 744462. Many thanks.

We would like to wish our fantastic volunteer team a very Happy Volunteer's Week!

We are incredibly lucky to have such an amazing, dedicated group of people supporting Berkshire Cat Centre, making a huge difference to cats and kittens in our care, like Otso (tabby & white) and Louis (black & white).

Thank you so much for everything you do 🙂

Crafting for charity
Crafting isn’t just a hobby; it’s a way to relax, express creativity, and enjoy time with like-minded people. Through our Craft for Cats events, it’s also a way to make a better life for cats and kittens in need. Whether it’s stamping, sculpting or sewing, every handmade creation brings joy and comfort, not just to you, but to the cats relying on us to care for them.

UPDATE Socks is now back at home. Thank you everyone for sharing the post and looking out for him 😺
MISSING
Socks's owners moved from Newbury Racecourse to Beverley Close in Thatcham and Socks has managed to escape and has been missing for over 48 hours now. He jumped from a 1st floor window so won't have recognised the garden or outside of the house yet to find his way back easily. His owner has put scents out in the garden that he will recognise etc and reported him as missing with his microchip. He is a 6 year old male. He has the collar on in this photo, he loves dreamies and will respond to his name (or Socksie). He has 2 young owners desperately worried about him 😟 He is normally an outdoor cat and very fond of the outside so being out isn't a new thing but it's a very new area. Please check sheds, garages and outbuildings and if you see Socks or have any information, please get in touch so we can reunite him with his family.

A few weeks ago, local supporters Clara and Melissa, aged 10 and 7, were granted a rare tour of the Berkshire Cat Centre cattery. The girls have been taking part in the Cat Protection Zoomies viral running challenge. Between them, they have to run 50 kilometres in the month of May. They chose to raise money for the Berkshire Cat Centre as their family adopted Inky from us last year.

After seeing what we do at the centre on a daily basis, Clara and Melissa have found a new gear (despite the heat) and are nearly at their £250 target! We are reaching out to our own supporters to help these girls get to the finish line (and possibly beyond)!

Don't worry: there's no running involved for you! Just click on the link below and donate to Clara and Melissa's Cat Protection Zoomies challenge...the girls will do the rest 😻
