At VetCare@Peace, we believe every goodbye should be as individual as the bond you shared with your beloved pet. 💙

That's why we offer a range of services to help provide a personal, dignified, and compassionate farewell.

For families who wish to remain close to their pet right until the very end, we offer Attended Cremations. ❤️

Following your pet's passing, you'll have private time together in our peaceful Room of Remembrance, where you can sit quietly, reflect, and say your final goodbye in your own way.

If you choose, you can also:
🐾 Help collect a lock of your pet's fur.
🐾 Create ink or clay paw prints as treasured keepsakes.
🕊️ Witness the beginning of the cremation process through our discreet viewing window.
💙 Receive gentle support from our caring team throughout your visit.

Every family grieves differently, so there is no right or wrong way to say goodbye. You may wish to stay with us throughout, or perhaps take a peaceful walk through the nearby woodland or along the riverside before returning later that day to collect your pet's ashes.

☕ Light refreshments are provided (depending on the time of your visit), and our team will be there to guide and support you every step of the way.

There is an additional charge for our Attended Cremation service, reflecting the dedicated time, privacy, and personalised care provided.

Above all, we want you to know that there is no expectation. Every farewell is different, and you can choose whatever feels right for you and your family. We are here to support you with kindness, compassion, and understanding at one of life's most difficult moments. 🌈💙

Benjamin helped us choose some beautiful plants and lovely butterfly decorations for the front of our crematorium, and we think he did an amazing job! 🌼🦋

His wonderful choices will help make the entrance even more welcoming, peaceful, and full of colour for the families who visit us. 🕊️✨

At VetCare@Peace, we always do our very best to accommodate special requests, because we know how important these precious memories can be. 💙

Recently, Kirsten helped create additional clay paw prints for a family who wanted several keepsakes to share with their loved ones. 🐾✨

There was no limit - just as many paw prints as they wished for, so everyone could have a lasting reminder of their much-loved companion. ❤️

These treasured keepsakes become a lasting connection to the pets who leave such a special mark on our hearts, and we're honoured to help families create memories they can cherish forever. 🌈

🐰💙 A little impulse purchase… and I couldn't resist! 💙🐰

Today I popped into a lovely local shop in Belper to buy a toy my son had been asking for… but I ended up falling in love with this beautiful Peter Rabbit cushion instead! 🥰

I absolutely love supporting our wonderful independent shops, and this one just had to come home with me. Thank you, Lonely Red Planet , for such a gorgeous find! ❤️

It now has pride of place in our reception room at VetCare@Peace, and I think it looks just perfect. 🕊️✨

Guinea pigs and rabbits have always held a very special place in my heart. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to care for so many of these wonderful little characters, and I've honestly lost count! They each have their own unique personalities and bring so much joy. 🐹🐰

Sometimes it's the little touches that help make a space feel warm, welcoming, and full of love - for both our families and their cherished companions. 💚

We've recently added this beautiful new piece to our fireplace in our Room of Remembrance, and we think it perfectly reflects everything that VetCare@Peace stands for. 💙

When we chose the name VetCare@Peace, we did so with great care. To us, peace means providing a calm, gentle, and comforting environment where families can say goodbye to their beloved pets with dignity and love. It also represents the peace we hope to bring to pet owners during one of life's most difficult moments, knowing their cherished companion is being cared for with compassion and respect every step of the way. 🐾🌈

Our Room of Remembrance has been created as a quiet, welcoming space where families can pause, reflect, and remember the special bond they shared with their pets. Every detail has been chosen with love to help create an atmosphere of warmth, comfort, and peace. ✨
