WE STAND BY OUR METHODS.
We regularly get asked whether we can train a different way, leave out certain tools, or change our approach to fit someone’s personal views.
We’re always happy to explain what we do, why we do it and what the training involves. Asking questions is absolutely fine and you should understand the process before committing to it.
But the reason we train the way we do is because we’ve seen it work. Our approach comes from hands on experience working with dogs and their owners, dealing with real behaviour and building reliability in everyday situations.
We want owners to enjoy their dogs, have confidence in them and see progress that carries over into their daily lives. That’s what our training is built around.
We won’t tell you whatever you want to hear just to secure a booking.
If you fundamentally disagree with the way we train, we’d rather be honest about that from the beginning and let you find a trainer whose approach suits you. We won’t take your money knowing you’re uncomfortable with the process, then try to work around that simply to keep the booking.
Every dog is an individual. Timing, pace, levels and what we focus on will depend on the dog in front of us. That’s part of training. But adapting to a dog’s needs doesn’t mean abandoning our methods to get someone through the door.
You don’t have to choose us and we respect that. There are different trainers offering different approaches and it’s important that you choose someone you’re comfortable working with.
What you will get from REBEL K9 is honesty about how we train, clear expectations and a commitment to the work we’ve agreed to do.
We’d rather turn a booking away than take someone’s money on promises we don’t stand behind.
