🐾 Important Update – Duffield Carnival Family Dog Show 🐾
It is with great disappointment that we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow's Family Dog Show at Duffield Carnival.
As much as we were looking forward to celebrating the day with you and your wonderful dogs, the welfare of our four-legged friends must always come first.
With the forecasted high temperatures, we believe that attending a busy outdoor event could present a serious health risk to many dogs. Even with the best intentions, hot weather can quickly become dangerous, and we would never want to put any dog at unnecessary risk.
While Duffield Carnival is still going ahead as planned, the Family Dog Show has been cancelled.
We would also strongly encourage anyone planning to attend the carnival to consider leaving their dogs safely at home, where they can stay cool, comfortable and out of the heat.
To everyone who entered the Dog Show, thank you so much for your support and enthusiasm. We were incredibly excited to meet you and your dogs, and we're truly sorry that circumstances beyond our control have led to this decision.
We will be contacting all entrants directly over the coming days, and all entry fees will be refunded in full.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our decision to put the health and welfare of dogs first. We know many of you will be just as disappointed as we are, but we're sure you'll agree that keeping our canine companions safe is far more important than any competition.
