☀️ Hot Weather & Dog Walks Tomorrow ☀️
With temperatures expected to reach around 25°C tomorrow, we know there will be the usual concerns about dogs being exercised in warmer weather.
Please be assured that your dog’s welfare always comes first. We monitor conditions throughout the day and adjust our walks accordingly. This may mean:
🐾 Shorter walks
🐾 More shade and rest breaks
🐾 Increased access to water
🐾 Alternative enrichment and garden time where appropriate
🐾 Changes to walk times where possible
Not every dog copes with heat in the same way. A fit young Labrador will have very different needs to an elderly dog, a brachycephalic breed, or a dog with underlying health conditions. We assess each dog individually.
If we feel conditions are unsuitable for a particular dog to walk safely, we will make that decision and let you know. Equally, if you would prefer your dog not to be walked tomorrow, please let us know as early as possible.
As always, our priority is sending dogs home happy, healthy, and safe — not sticking rigidly to a routine when the weather has other ideas.
