Giggles is always the first to find the food bowl and the last to leave! ๐This boy lives for his food and loves seeing strangers coming to visit in the hopes they will also have something tasty for him! Giggles is a happy go lucky puppy who approaches life with a steady confidence. He has enjoyed all of our outings to new places to investigate and is often amongst the first to try something new, on his first trip to the beach, as soon as he saw the others enter the water there was no hesitation before he followed! ๐ณ
During his 1x1 training, Giggles focuses and learns particularly well when there is food involved! ๐He has a high food drive and high toy drive making him a very good partner in training sessions. Giggles will offer his known behaviours in exchange for an award. Like most young Mudi can grow bored during heavy repetition sessions but providing the training includes different objectives, he is easy to keep engaged and work with!
On introduction to the sheep at 8 weeks Giggles did not instantly go to investigate them, instead sticking around with the humans to see why were we watching them! When we brought Trip in to show him the ropes, he followed her behind them and eventually moved off on his own to keep the sheep moving.๐ In further sessions his enthusiasm to learn the task has grown, he is able to confidently push the stock forward by himself now. Giggles remains easy to call back from livestock and his core focus remains his handler.
