Attention puppy owners 📣🐶

This is your sign to make sure you properly socialise your pup from a young age, I did this with Mikey and I don’t need to worry about taking him places.. he goes wherever we go and I don’t even think about it but I know this isn’t the case for a lot of dog owners. The first year of having your dog I personally think is so important, a wee bit of work with your dog in this stage will help them and you for their little furry life. There’s nothing more embarrassing than your dog showing you up and being a wee 💩 is there 🙈. We went to the Ayr show and the largs Viking festival this weekend (highly recommend, go next year) there was loads of dogs, people, fireworks, noise, planes and stuff going on.. Mikey did not batter an eye lid to anything, not even fussed over the people & kids giving him attention he’s so laid back and this is all down to the first 4-12 months of his life - loads of socialisation, recall and basic training.

I ticked off a checklist and tried to complete it Mikeys first 6 months, I’ve made up one for puppy owners, swipe to the end to see >>>>>

Hope everyone’s had a fun weekend, we have 🤩

Ps I picked up some treats at the show from What The Pup Ayr , Mikey loves them, stole the out my pocket today 🤣so I have any left will share them this weeks on walks 🦴they have a shop in Ayr if anyone’s passing through, loads of good treats 🐾

Happy 6th birthday to Mikey, the dog that stole my heart, made me a crazy dog mom and lead me to giving up my accounting career to start a business where I could spend every minute with him as I am absolutely obsessed with him. Best thing I ever bought is you & it’s completely changed my life for the better so lucky we get to live our best life daily with all our dog pals 🥰🐾

If anyone is looking for anything to do this weekend the Strathven hot air balloon festival is on. It’s very dog friendly and loads to do for kids .. Mikey met another red long hair Daschund so birthday bonus for him 🤩

Walks on Saturday & Sunday this weekend if anyone wants to add on 🐶

Ps farrah won a Celtic scarf at a football game stall she doesn’t usually walk around with 1 on 🫣😂😂
