Come and join us at our FunFest Agility Show – Saturday 3rd October!

You don’t need to have competed before. If you and your dog are agility trained and able to run courses, this could be a great way to experience a show without the pressure. 🙌

Choose Not For Competition (NFC) and use your time in the ring as a genuine training opportunity.

Just a quick reminder that there are no Canine Hub classes or social club this Saturday or Monday.

Laura does have a few pre-arranged 1-2-1 catch-up sessions on Sunday and Monday, so if you’re booked in for one of those, they are still going ahead as planned. 😊

If recall is a bit hit and miss, or your daily walk feels more like a workout for your arm, we've got two practical 3-week courses starting Saturday 5th September.

🐕 Recall – 1pm
🐾 Loose Lead Walking – 3pm

Both courses are 3 weeks for £60 and are all about giving you practical skills you can actually use out and about with your dog.

⭐ Pet Membership minutes can also be used.

Spaces are limited and we'd love to get a few more dogs joining us.

Entries are open for our Canine FunFest Charity Agility Show on Saturday 3rd October 2026 at The Canine Hub, Oakley, Bedfordshire!

Whether you fancy some fun competition or would rather use your time in the ring to train NFC, we’d love to see you.

⭐ £5 per run

Combined Grades 1–3:
• 2 x Agility
• 1 x Jumping
• 1 x Steeplechase
• Small, Medium, Intermediate & Large

Plus 2 x Any Size classes.

Grades 1–3 can compete or run NFC.
Grades 4–7 can join us NFC on the Grades 1–3 courses.

🏆 Trophies for 1st place
🎗️ Rosettes 1st–3rd + clear-round rosettes in competition classes

This Saturday 22nd August is the last of our summer workshops!

💃 Doggy Dancing | 2.30pm–4pm
Have fun learning moves and tricks with your dog and putting them together as a team. No dancing experience required!

🏃 Come & Try Agility | 3pm–4pm
Fancy trying dog agility? Come and have a go at some of the equipment in a fun, friendly beginner session.

⭐ Looking for regular Saturday Agility training?
Suitable teams attending Come & Try Agility may be offered a permanent space in one of our Saturday Agility classes afterwards.

Saturday Agility spaces very rarely become available, so if you've been hoping to join us, this is a great opportunity!

September isn’t just back-to-school time for the kids… it’s time for the dogs to brush up on their skills too! ✏️🐶

We’ve got TWO 3-week training courses starting this September:

🐕 Loose Lead Walking
For dogs who think every walk is a race! We’ll work on focus, connection and practical skills to make walks together more enjoyable.

📣 Recall
Does your dog suddenly develop selective hearing when something more exciting appears? We’ll work on building a stronger, more reliable recall through fun games and exercises.

🐾 LOCAL BUSINESSES – TRADE STANDS AVAILABLE! 🛍️

We're looking for some lovely local businesses to join the Trade Village at our Canine FunFest Weekender 2026 at The Canine Hub in Oakley.

📅 Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October 2026

Saturday will feature our Charity Agility Show, with our Fun Dog Show and activities taking place on Sunday.

Trade pitches are just:
⭐ £20 for one day
⭐ £35 for the full weekend

We're looking for a good variety of stalls and would particularly love to hear from local independent businesses, makers and dog-related businesses that would be a good fit for our visitors.

Natural dog treat stalls are now fully allocated.

Please also note that we're unable to accept dog training businesses or additional dog grooming businesses due to conflicts with services already provided at The Canine Hub.

Traders must hold valid Public Liability Insurance.

❤️ The weekend is raising funds for Many Tears Animal Rescue, Spaniel Aid UK and Animal Helpline.
