Equest Pramox worming
All CHRL horses follow a regular worm-control programme, including tapeworm control twice yearly.
Based on our extensive experience caring for elderly, frail and immunocompromised horses—and having witnessed serious adverse outcomes from the moxidectin based wormer, CHRL does not and will not administer Equest Pramox.
We encourage owners who specifically want their horse treated with Pramox to research the potential risks in advance of their decision. Thereafter, if you wish to proceed with its administration please contact Adele, our trusted long term veterinary surgeon at AR Equine here :

Adele will then assess whether it is clinically appropriate, arrange supply, administration and payment, and, if approved, administer it during her next scheduled yard visit.
All associated costs are the owner’s responsibility. Otherwise, your horse will remain on CHRL’s established worm-control programme.
