MEET REBA – PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP ON HER 🧡
Reba is a 7-year-old Belgian Malinois who is intelligent, eager to please and desperate to have a human of her own.
She was abandoned by her most recent owner and came to DOTS with nowhere else to go. We don’t give up on dogs who need a chance — and we’re not giving up on Reba.
Reba does have challenges. She can be reactive to some dogs and needs an experienced Malinois home with space, structure, stimulation and someone who understands the breed.
And believe us… Reba has a LOT of brain! 😂
She even decided a normal water bowl was far too boring, repeatedly emptying it and throwing it around her kennel. So we made her one out of concrete.
Reba 0. DOTS 1. For now.
But underneath all that Malinois energy is a dog who desperately craves human connection. She’s eager to please, loves interaction and is happiest when she has a job to do.
We’ve tried to find her a specialist Malinois rescue, without success. Some might say that at 7, we should give up.
We don’t.
Reba needs someone who understands her — not someone to feel sorry for her.
We’re looking for an experienced Malinois home with secure space or land, where she can exercise, use her incredible brain and finally have the purpose and companionship she craves.
