We are a mainly small animal veterinary practice on the edge of Bedford. We have a team of 13 vets, 18 nurses, 11 Customer Care Advisors and 5 Administrators. Our aim is to provide the best possible veterinary care for your pets in a friendly environment. We have a substantial, purpose built, air conditioned modern building with ample car parking space. Our waiting room is large and easily accessi

ble for disabled clients. There are four separate consulting rooms. The building is protected by CCTV, an intruder and fire alarm. If you would like to register at our practice please phone or call in. CONSULTATIONS ARE AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY AND SATURDAY MORNINGS

This sweet boy is Barney, a Springer Spaniel who came to see vet Chloe after his owner noticed him shaking his head. 🐶🩺

Chloe examined Barney’s ears and applied medication to help soothe the problem, while his owner was given some medication to continue keeping him comfortable at home. 💙

This tiny chap is Otis, a beautiful Hermann’s tortoise who came to see vet Hayley for a reptile health check. 🩺🐢

As part of his consultation, Otis had some x-rays, which can be an important part of assessing overall health in reptiles and can help us identify problems that may not be obvious from the outside.

Otis was a lovely little patient and did very well during his visit! 🥰🐢

This adorable little girl is Flora, a Tibetan Terrier puppy who came to see vet Henry for her second vaccinations and a health check. 🩺🐶

We were lucky enough to capture a couple of lovely photos of her while she was here — she was certainly a very photogenic patient! 📸🥰

It was lovely to see Flora again, and we look forward to watching her grow into a beautiful young dog. 🐾💗

This handsome boy is Uno, a wonderful Canine Partners dog who has been visiting us throughout his training. 🐶🎓

This was Uno’s last visit to Acorn House before he heads off to begin the next chapter of his journey, where he will go on to make a huge difference to someone’s life as part of the Canine Partners programme. 💙

It has been such a pleasure watching Uno grow and develop into the amazing, confident and caring boy he is today. We’re incredibly proud of him and will miss seeing his lovely face around the practice! 🥰🐾
