Everyday I’m asked shall I just give my horse a pramox - the answer is often NO.
Pramox is advised to be given after the first frost for horses under the age of 4 and for some horses over the age of 20 as these horses do not have immunity to encysted red worm. Horses between 4 & 20 should have a minimum of an annual tape worm test and 3 monthly worm egg counts. If you would like to discuss your individual horses requirements then please get in touch and we are happy to help. We offer in house WEC and tape worm tests that you can collect from us. PLEASE HELP STOP the growing problem of wormer resistance.
