🩺 CPR Training Day – Keeping Our Skills Sharp! 🩺

Our whole team recently took part in a day of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), getting hands on with practical CPR training.

In an emergency, every second counts, so training like this is incredibly important. Although the team regularly undertake theory based emergency training, it gives us the opportunity to refresh our knowledge and put into practise essential life-saving techniques, and make sure we’re ready to work together calmly and effectively when our patients need us most. ❤️

We are incredibly proud of our team for their dedication 🩵 A brilliant day of learning, teamwork, and plenty of hands on practice, provided by the amazing Burty's Boutique - Veterinary CPD. 🐾

🐢 Did you know tortoises can be microchipped? 🐢

Following a spell of lots of stray tortoises, we want to help get them reunited to you easier!

Microchipping provides your tortoise with a permanent form of identification, helping to reunite them with you if they’re ever lost or stolen. Tortoises are always microchipped in the left hind leg which makes it so much easier to reunite them with you should they go walkabout!

Get in touch with the practice to find out more or book an appointment for your tortoise to be microchipped by one of our nurses!
