Est. 2007, Happy Cats helps you and your cat avoid the stress of the cattery with home visits of 30-45 min in Battle, Robertsbridge, Hurst Green, St Leonard's and Bexhill! We are here so that you and your cat can avoid the stress of the cattery: we visit cats in their own homes, staying for 30-45 minutes per visit and giving them love and play. Established in 2007, we have now completed more than 3,000 bookings and have just moved from Tunbridge Wells to Battle. Clients trust us because of CRB check and excellent references and cats love us because we love cats! And they do! In addition to caring for your cat, we give your home a lived-in appearance by picking up post, putting out bins, watering house plants and drawing and opening curtains. All this at very reasonable prices. See the website www.happycatscatsitting.co.uk for more details or ring us on 01424 777146. We look forward to making your cat a happy cat while you’re away from home!

Back from a lovely 10 day house sit looking after one of my favourite cats, the aged but wonderful Poppy (she likes to be known as Miss Popsicle!) and her side kick, the playful Seren. There is something about old cats, isn't there? I just love them! So a wonderful way to end the booking was to visit Tiggi in Tonbridge, who I rehomed to her devoted Mum and Dad many years ago. Tigs is almost 20!! And as adorable as ever! I am away Monday 19th for a few days research for my next book. I will check my phone twice daily. Still some availability for Xmas and you know how I love Xmas with your cats! Have a great week all, H ###x

Bengals!! We all know how strong they are, but did you know they are also fully paid-up members of Cat Mensa??! Two normally adorable Bengal Crosses managed to move a HUGE plant in a plant pot and TURN the dial on the cat flap! They are normally kept in while cat parents are away but they were out fir 17 hours! I was frantic!! They eventually came in and the cat flap would now require a JCB to access it! After all that stress, it was wonderful to visit Ron, the sweetest and most adorable cat on my books. He could sense my distress and his nose rub made it all better. Thank you, Ronnie ❤️❤️ Have a great week all! H xx

Some wonderful cats over the last few weeks, as you can see, but something wonderful happened too! As some of you know, when possible I volunteer every Wednesday afternoon at Celia Hammond at Brede, and the highlight of my month was meeting the doyenne of cat rescue: Celia Hammond herself! I was somewhat overcome with emotion: what a WONDERFUL lady, who has done so much for stray cats in the UK. Thank you, Celia Hammond! Have a great week all xx

Hello everybody: I need your help, please! Many new clients find me via Google and my business profile. So I was horrified when a man called Milo, who lives in Canterbury and has NEVER used me, left a 1 star review!! One week later I got an email from another person offering to remove it for £440!! 😭 I have reported it to Google, but the review is still there. So, if you have used me, and loved me, please could you leave a positive review so that Milo disappears from view? Thank you! This should be the link. https://g.page/r/CXetWws4LvIgEBM/review
Have a great week all! H xx

If last week was unbearably sad : I seemed to spend the whole week on the verge of tears: thankfully this week has been a delight! Phew!! Back with Bo, the diabetic cat; did my volunteer shift at Celia Hammond; slept over with George (ginger and white) who is giving cancer a run for its money and took an APPALLING selfie of me and Lucky, one of the most intelligent (and naughty!) cats I have known in 19 years of cat sitting. The sun is shining, the cats are happy: ONWARDS into another busy but positive week! Helen xx

Without 'Mr Happy Cats' there would have been no Happy Cats Cat Sitting! Roy supported me in this cat-paradise from its very start in 2007 and from 2013-18 he worked almost full time for me! He has been my rock, not just with YOUR cats but with ours. Yesterday we celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and there aren't enough ways to say THANK YOU Roy for loving cats and loving me! ###

Wow! A couple of weeks of Tortitude, fun, sadness and pain! Two lovely Torties: Edith, who has finally succumbed to my charms; Sylvie, as lovely as ever; Muriel who is TOO darned cute; Vera and Aragorn who are hopefully shortly moving to Dubai and my foot!! Slid on stair carpet in client's house: severely bruised foot and a lot of pain. 😡😡 Now on the mend and ready for a holiday! Enjoy the glorious weather which is coming! Xx h

Some stunning cats to bring you some joy on this cold, wet and windy summer (?!) day! First, Henry, an apricot British Short Hair cross who, in addition to being soooo handsome, has the lovely BSH nature. Then Miss Poppy, aka Pops, one of the most intelligent cats I have met, then Freddie an adorable ex-stray and last, but no means least the lovely Layla (aka my baby girl ❤️). Enjoy! And 🤞for sun soon! Have a great week! H xx
