Hello everyone! ❤️ As an Asian-style professional dog groomer, here I would like to share my service menu and explain a few important details about my grooming philosophy.
1️⃣ A**l Glands Emptying (Available in BOTH Grooms upon request)
While a**l glands emptying is listed on my service menu, I follow a gentle, pet-first philosophy aligned with UK standards:
• On Request/As Needed Only: Healthy a**l glands usually empty naturally. Therefore, I only perform external expression if it is strictly necessary, safe, and requested by the owner.
• My Policy: Your dog's comfort is my absolute priority. If a pup shows any signs of distress, resistance, or potential medical issues (such as severe blockage or infection), I will not attempt to clear them and will advise you to see a veterinary surgeon for proper care.
2️⃣ No Nooses/Restraints on the Table (99% of the time!)
I do things a bit differently here to ensure a stress-free experience.
Unless there is an absolute safety risk, 99% of the dogs are NOT tethered or tied to my grooming table. Allowing them to stand freely makes them feel much more comfortable, relaxed, and respected. It builds trust and turns grooming into a positive experience rather than a scary one.
3️⃣ Basic Groom vs. Full Groom: What’s the difference?
Basic Groom (also known as a Mini Groom): This package does not include an overall body haircut. It is the perfect "maintenance" visit in between Full Grooms for long-haired breeds to keep them clean, fresh, and tidy.
Full Groom (For styling & matted coats): If your dog’s coat has become tangled or matted, they must book a Full Groom. I prioritise your dog's comfort and will never painfully untangle severe matting; instead, I will safely clip/shave the hair down while leaving it as long as safely possible.
