Too hot for us = too hot for them ☀️🐾

As temperatures rise, it’s important to remember that our pets can struggle in the heat much more quickly than we do

Here are a few simple ways to help keep them safe and comfortable:
💧 Make sure fresh, cool water is always available
🚶 Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler
🔥 Avoid hot pavements – if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
🧊 Try cooling mats, damp towels, frozen treats, or pet-safe ice cubes
🚗 Never leave pets in a parked car, even for a few minutes

Keep an eye out for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse. If you’re concerned, contact your vet immediately

I had the pleasure of looking after this beautiful XL Bully — a big, friendly goofball with nothing but love to give.

His owners are some of the loveliest people, and I’m so grateful they trusted me with the opportunity to care for such an amazing dog.

Sadly, because of the XL Bully ban, this amazing dog is forced to wear a muzzle, kept on a leash at all times, and constantly judged just because of his size and appearance. It’s heartbreaking to see such loving dogs punished for simply existing, when the real issue has always been irresponsible ownership, not the breed itself.

These dogs deserve understanding, not fear!
