Some cats ask for attention.

Talia sends a calendar invite, reviews your application, and lets you know if she's available.

This nearly 12-year-old queen enjoys affection when the mood strikes, values her personal space, and believes a quiet home should revolve around her schedule. Frankly, we think she's earned it.

Talia is looking for a calm adult-only home where she can enjoy the finer things in life: peaceful naps, occasional cuddles, and humans who understand that the best relationships are built on mutual respect.

Valerie's Happy Tail 🐾

Do you remember Valerie, our sweet Saluki mum from last year?

Well, she’s now off on adventures and living her very best life!

Her forever family recently sent us an update, and it’s safe to say Valerie is absolutely thriving. Over the last few months, her confidence has blossomed, her gorgeous coat has grown back, and her tail is wagging more than ever 🐾

She’s already enjoyed holidays to the Gower and Cornwall, made new friends on monthly sighthound walks, and even started weekly obedience and agility classes!

This clever girl can now do sit, down, and paw and continues to amaze everyone with how brave she is trying new things. When she’s not out exploring, Valerie loves nothing more than sunbathing in the conservatory by day and curling up on her sofa at night ☀️

Her family told us they “couldn’t imagine life without her” and honestly, we couldn’t be happier for them all 🥰

Today is Thank You Day, and we're feeling grateful for all the little things our pets do that make life better 💙

Edward arrived as a stray with a broken leg, while he was still just a teenager.

Instead of learning about the world the way young dogs should, Edward spent his first weeks with us on strict rest while his leg healed.

But even then, his teenage spirit shone through. He was full of energy and curiosity. Blankets were shredded. Sofas were jumped on. Quiet moments were treated as optional 🐾

Edward loved people and wanted to greet everyone at full speed. He just needed help learning that four paws on the floor is usually the better option.

With consistency, training and lots of encouragement, Edward began to settle. Visits to new spaces became calmer. Walks became easier. His confidence started to grow.

Like so many young dogs, Edward just needed someone to show him the way and the right match came along.

How long should a dog have to wait to belong?

Roman is still waiting for his person.

When he first came into our care, he had been abandoned. He was coughing, covered in fleas, and had sores on his paws.

Today, Roman is healthy, safe, and ready for his next chapter.

But what Roman wants most isn't treatment, toys, or adventures.

It's belonging.

Roman is looking for a home with another friendly dog who can help him feel safe and show him that the world isn't such a scary place. Having a canine companion gives him the confidence to explore, play, learn, and simply relax.

His foster family have watched him blossom. They've taken him on holidays, walks along beaches and country trails, and cosy stays away from home. When Roman feels safe, his playful, loving personality shines through.

He's waited a long time for someone to choose him.

Well hi there, this is Alan. He's a little shy and likes to hide if it's a bit noisy in the cattery. We know he would be a loyal companion to someone with a big heart, who can give him a little time to settle in.
Our volunteer photographer Nicky has only met him twice, and after this photo he was purring and rubbing around her legs which is a sign of trust and affection. You just have to meet him to love him!
