Not all group dog walks are created equal

Putting six random dogs together doesn’t necessarily make a good group.

Personality matters.

Play style matters.

Age matters.

Confidence matters.

Energy levels matter.

That’s why we MATCH the dogs on our group walks.

The aim isn’t simply to exercise them for an hour.

We want our dogs to benefit mentally, physically AND socially from their walks.

Our groups are no more than six dogs per team member and are often smaller, allowing the dogs plenty of interaction and attention.

Professional dog walking throughout Bath, Monday–Friday.

Give your puppy the best possible start

Those first few months go ridiculously quickly.

One minute you’re carrying a tiny puppy home…

…and before you know it, you’re living with a teenager who suddenly has opinions about EVERYTHING! 😂

Those early experiences matter.

Puppy Playschool is run with behaviour, training and welfare at its heart, giving puppies opportunities to learn, explore and develop confidence during this important stage of their development.

Small groups mean we can get to know the individual puppies rather than simply putting lots of puppies together and hoping for the best.

A tired puppy isn’t just a puppy who’s been exercised

Mental stimulation is SO important for growing puppies.

Young dogs don’t need hours and hours of physical exercise to tire them out.

Using their brains can be just as important.

At Puppy Playschool our mornings include enrichment and training games alongside carefully managed opportunities for puppies to interact and explore.

We’re helping them practise skills that can benefit them as they grow — while making learning FUN.

And yes… quite a few of our little pupils are ready for a good sleep afterwards! 😴🐶

Puppy Playschool runs every Friday morning at Homewood in Freshford.

Start grooming BEFORE your puppy desperately needs it

One of the best things you can do for a puppy is introduce grooming while they’re young.

Think about everything your dog may experience throughout their lifetime:

🐾 Having their paws handled
🐾 Nail clipping
🐾 Brushing
🐾 Baths
🐾 Dryers
🐾 Ear checks
🐾 Clippers and grooming equipment

Waiting until your puppy is covered in knots before their first grooming experience can make that first visit unnecessarily difficult.

We offer puppy introductions to grooming, helping young dogs become familiar with the grooming environment and the experience itself.

Building positive experiences now can make grooming SO much easier later. ❤️
