I’m often asked these questions, and my answer is always the same:

Your house, your rules. 🏡🐶

There is no universal “should” when it comes to where your dog is allowed in your home. Every family is different, and what works beautifully for one household might not work at all for another.

The important thing is consistency.

Because whatever you allow “just this once” — or because they’re “only a puppy” 🥹 — can very quickly become your dog’s understanding of the rules forever! 🤷‍♂️

So decide what works for your family, your home and your dog, then make those boundaries clear and stick to them.

A puppy doesn’t come with a rulebook… but they’re very good at writing their own! 😂🐾
