✈️ AIRSHOW WEEKEND REMINDER! 🐾

Hopefully everyone visiting us this weekend is already aware from the notice on our website and your booking confirmation, but just a little reminder that it’s the Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow this weekend, so Grange Road will be closed.

Don’t worry - The Paddock and The Round Wood are OPEN as usual and you can still get through the road closure. Just show the team at the closure your booking confirmation email and they should let you through ✅

📱 Please preload/screenshot your confirmation before setting off! Signal on Grange Road can be a little temperamental, and we don’t want you stuck trying to load an email when you arrive.

⏰ We’d also recommend leaving plenty of extra time for your journey. The roads will be busier than usual and you may have a short wait before you’re allowed through.

✈️ There will, of course, be lots of loud, low-flying planes throughout the weekend. If you think this might upset your pup, you’re absolutely welcome to reschedule your session. If your booking is within the usual 24-hour notice period, just contact me directly and I’ll sort this for you.

📞 If you have any problems getting through the road closure, give me a call on 07312 126409.

Otherwise… enjoy the view! 👀✈️🐶

Some of the gorgeous pups who have been enjoying our Woodland Walk recently 🐾🌳

We’ve been absolutely blown away by how much you’ve all been loving our new Woodland Walk and all the sniffs it has to offer! Thank you so much to everyone who’s visited, and for all the lovely messages, emails and feedback you’ve sent our way. It means so much to hear how much you and your dogs are enjoying it.

And thank you to the owners of this gorgeous bunch for sending us over these snaps 📸

We can’t wait to welcome many more happy wagging tails! 💚🐶

Here’s a quick update on the farming side of things from Will… 🚜👨‍🌾🌱

This week we’re applying digestate to our oilseed r**e crop to give it essential protection from some pesky bugs, along with a valuable boost of nutrients.

So a little heads-up if you’re visiting us over the week or so: digestate is quite stinky, so there may be a bit of a smell around the woodland walk and dog field once it’s been spread. It’s all part of sustainable farming, recycling nutrients back into the soil and helping our crops grow, and it should hopefully die down within a week!

Thanks for bearing with us - we promise the smell won’t too long! 🌾🐶💚

❗️📢 Attention Duxford Paddock customers - Duxford Summer Air Show - This Weekend (4th & 5th July) ✈️

Just a heads up that the Duxford Summer Air Show is taking place this Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th July, and Grange Road will be closed as a result.

Don’t worry - our dog field will remain OPEN as usual! 🐾

If you have a booking, you’ll still be able to access Grange Road. Simply show your booking confirmation email at the road closure, and you’ll be allowed through.

We’d recommend leaving a little extra time to get to the paddock, in case you have to wait at the road closure point at all.

If you experience any issues at all, just give us a call on 07312 126409 and we’ll be happy to help.

Please also bear in mind that there will be loud aircraft noise and low-flying planes throughout the weekend. If you think this might be unsettling for your dog(s), we’d recommend rescheduling your visit. You can reschedule using the link in your booking confirmation email, or get in touch by phone or email and we’ll happily help you arrange another time.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope everyone has a lovely weekend! 🐕💚

☀️ HEATWAVE WARNING & POLICY UPDATE ☀️

With the warmer weather and upcoming heatwave, we’d kindly ask all customers to consider whether it may be too hot for their dog to safely enjoy their session over this coming bank holiday weekend. If needed, please think ahead and reschedule with plenty of notice - we’ve been aware of the incoming heatwave for most of the week, so there has been plenty of time to make alternative arrangements if required 🐾

Due to an increase in last-minute cancellations and rescheduled bookings, we have made an update to our booking policy.

From now on, all cancellations or rescheduled sessions will require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Our booking system has now been updated, meaning sessions can no longer be cancelled or moved within 24 hours of the booking time. Please note that our 24-hour notice policy for refunds remains unchanged and has always been in place.

We completely understand that unexpected situations can occasionally arise, and we appreciate your understanding and continued support.
