I'm pet sitting for beautiful Miss Kira again 💖 I think her brain has just melted over the fact her bestie's just arrived and she gets a new dino toy all in one morning! 🦖🤯 we'll be having lots of fun this weekend including some lovely local village walks...if and when she decides to give up this game...we're still going strong at the minute! 💪🏻

What an emotional rollercoaster I'm on at the minute! 🥲 I'm kind of leaving but not - - I have been providing fixed weekly walks for my closest pups. Frank & Zippy have been little besties from very early in enjoying their adventures together 💖 today was officially their last, so they had a well-deserved pup cup each 🐶🧋 I love all the pups I care for but everyone knows these little monkeys are my OG's ♥️🐾

I expect I'll still get them out together again and take them out on their own little adventures at times but it's going to look very different as they grow and find their new pet pals with new dog walkers - they better take the best care of these little bears!!! 🐻 💕 or else 💪🏻 😆

Rupert Stays is now looking very different, focused on in-home pet sitting across Basingstoke, Hampshire, surrounding areas & serving select areas of East Sussex. I am here for my current pet parents when they need me and welcoming new pet parents along the way 💖

Rupert Stays V2.0 - The Reboot 🔥🐾

Dear Pet Parents,

This photo is of me at the start of Rupert Stays, three years ago. They say the first three years in business is the hardest - you're not becoming profitable, you're learning. I've come to the end of that first chapter, where initially, I felt like giving up. Through making mistakes and experimenting with lots of changes, I've figured out what works and what doesn't. Two of my biggest lessons, inspired by Marco Pierre White: 1. Simplicity is key. 2. Perfection is lots of little things done well. This is not a pet care business death, it's a reboot.

As an experienced pet care professional, I want high-quality pet care to be accessible for you. Simply, my core offer is In-Home Pet Sitting - a trusted, reliable service for your pets in the comfort of their own home while you are away. My secondary offer is Ad-Hoc Dog Walking & Pet Visits.

I provide a bespoke pet care service that is suited to your requirements and your pet's individual needs. Every pet and household is different, so I tailor the service and investment accordingly.

I am excited to be building something that feels exciting, sustainable and much more aligned with the kind of business I want to run. Whilst Rupert Stays is currently based in Basingstoke, I intend to branch out to East Sussex, therefore, the Rupert Stays client base will be expanding soon. I would love to connect with pet parents and other pet care professionals at this time.

I'm looking forward to welcoming some lovely new clients and seeing where this next chapter takes me.

Professional dog walking provides your pup with an experience that promotes their overall health and wellbeing, carefully managed in a fun, yet safe environment. I truly believe it's a wonderful investment for you and your dog. I appreciate and respect all pet care professionals, for they are more than just hobbyists - they put their time, energy and money into reliably taking care of your pets. Taking animals out in the public as a business owner is a totally different ball game; the reason they need public liability insurance. It is a privilege to provide and receive such a unique service.
