The time has come for me to say farewell to my beloved Unofficial KBK9s Mascot, Bestest buddy and one of the longest standing crew members.
Digby dog ❤️
He is off to live a beautiful life in the countryside with his mum and dad in their new home.
The second Digby walked into Lupo Academy in his mums arms I instantly fell in love. A tiny grey shiver beast bundle in his ducky raincoat (it was straight after covid so we were training outside)
You have been through ever such a lot in your 5 years. A horrific leg break, menengitis and a very scary time last year with IBD where we wasn't sure you was going to make it. With several weeks in the specialist hospital, feeding tubes, f***l transplants and much more.
I have never worried so much about a dog like I've worried about you but the love you have around you and your spirit is surely what kept you around and now fighting fit (don't we know it 😂)
You have become like an extended part of my family, you have even visited Eva when she was poorly, made yourself comfortable and made a sad Eva smile. You have your own seat, blanket and belt in my car and are the only dog allowed to ride upfront. Your mum, Greg, Glam-ma and Grandad have always made me feel important in your life too and I will be forever grateful for that.
I know Mummy was upset to tell me you were moving and we both had a cry but I'm so happy for you all.
I cannot wait to see you all at your mum and Greg's wedding in December.
Digby Dog you shivered your way into my heart and never left, I will miss being frequently terrorized by you. Jump attacking me, sticking your tongue in my mouth, standing over me demanding head kisses and all the other very weird stuff you do.
It's not goodbye as I will see you soon but it's the end of an era of the joy of regular Digby time.
Stay weird little one 🩶
