Welcome to the newest crew member Mr Peanut.

We have taken the last few weeks to get to know each other and help Mr P feel more comfortable with me coming into his house. He's a suspicious little guy by nature and it's taken him a little while to get used to a stranger coming in but we are becoming good friends and he happily goes on walkies with me.
We will be working on recall once we have established a good bond and his walking is great already.

Me and Mickey have had some extra weekend time together this summer so we have done some nice different walks.
Last weekend we decided to explore some rural footpaths and went on a 2 hr walk.
Perfect weather not too hot but dry and sunny 🌞

Please be cautious with the humidity that we have experienced today.

Although it was cooler at 21° this morning, the humidity was at 87%.
I noticed the dogs struggling today with this and made adjustments.
High humidity makes a dog's cooling system ineffective.
Keep an eye out for heat distress even if it feels cooler.
