🐾 🐶 NEW POLICY ANNOUNCEMENT – INTRODUCING JANUARY 2027 🐶 🐾

At Paws & Relax Doggy Daycare, we know that life sometimes means taking a break from your dog’s usual daycare routine — whether that’s for school holidays, family holidays or other planned absences including females in season who require 4 weeks off.

To help us manage our spaces fairly and make sure we can welcome as many dogs as possible, we’re introducing our new Retain or Release Policy from January 2027

Customers will have the following two options for planned absences:

✨️Option 1 – Retain Your Regular Space
Customers who wish to guarantee their usual booking days upon their return may retain their space by paying a retainer of 40% of their normal daily rate for each regular booked day during the agreed absence (40% of £25 = £10). It reserves the agreed space but does not include daycare attendance during the absence.

✨️Option 2 – Release Your Regular Space
Customers who do not wish to pay a retainer may release their regular booking days for the period of their absence at no charge. Released spaces may be offered to other customers. When the customer wishes to return, we will do our best to accommodate their usual days, subject to availability, but their previous booking days cannot be guaranteed.

A letter will be handed out to each customer soon explaining this new policy which will need to be signed and returned and will be uploaded to your dogs profile.

Thank you for your continued support, understanding and for being part of the Paws & Relax family. We appreciate every one of you! 🐾

📣 Christmas photo backdrop vote 🐾

2 years ago I did a Christmas photo of each dog with a back drop and it was a real success and loved by all customers. So this year I am planning to do it again. Please put a '❤️' on the backdrop you prefer and the one with the most hearts I will select to do the Christmas photos with 💕

I will get all the photos done by the beginning of December as alot of customers liked using the photos as Christmas cards. I will do my best as always to get the best photo of your dog for you 🥰

🐾 A Little Doggy Daycare Update 🐾

Our family pack is officially full and we’re incredibly grateful for all the support. 🐶🐾

With our spaces now full we do need to be stricter with our 12-hour cancellation policy. Going forward, if you need to cancel or change a booked day, we kindly ask for at least 12 hours' notice.

Cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice, or missed days without notice, will still be charged at the full daycare rate. This is because we are holding that space specifically for your dog, and at such short notice we're often unable to offer it to another family.

We also appreciate that things come up — we really do! Where we can, we'll always try to help, but while we're fully booked we're going to have less flexibility when it comes to swapping days, moving dogs around or adding extra days.

If you ask us to change days or squeeze in an additional day and we're unable to do it straight away, please bear with us. We may need a little time to look at the whole schedule and see what we can safely accommodate without overcrowding the daycare.

An important notice for adhoc dogs - we are only able to give a space as and when a space is available. We cannot guarantee there will be a space on your chosen day.

Thank you so much for your understanding, patience and continued support. We really do have the loveliest daycare family, and we're so lucky to have you all! 🥰🐶
