🐾 Meet Our New Groomer – Paul! 🐾

We’re so excited to officially introduce Paul, the newest member of our grooming team!

Many of you may already recognise Paul as he’s Dad to our owner, Katelyn ! After years of supporting the business from behind the scenes, he’s now joined the team and is currently training as a dog groomer.

Paul has always had a huge love for dogs and brings valuable hands-on experience from previously working at a dog rescue centre for the past 5 years, where he cared for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. His calm, patient approach and genuine passion for animal welfare make him a natural fit for grooming.

As he completes his training alongside our experienced groomers, Paul is learning everything from bathing, drying, and coat preparation to breed-specific styling and handling techniques. He’s committed to making every dog feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their visit.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Paul as part of our family-run team, and we know he’ll be a familiar, friendly face that both you and your pups will love getting to know.

Thank you to our amazing clients💚

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has and are continuing to work with us during this hot weather. From coming in at 7am, agreeing to dry cuts and understanding when needing to rearrange appointments to a cooler day. We truly appreciate your understanding and support.

To help keep everyone safe, this week we have been closing by 11am at the latest. This morning the salon reached 29.8°C very quickly by 9:30am, which led us to cancel the remainder of the morning appointments. This decision was made solely to prioritise the safety and welfare of both the dogs and our groomers.

While we are incredibly grateful for the cooperation we’ve received, we DO NOT tolerate abuse toward our team when safety measures are put in place. Grooming in extreme heat poses serious risks, and despite being informed of these risks, some owners weren’t happy and still wanted to bring their dogs in (which we refused). Every decision we make is with both the dogs’ and our staff’s safety at the forefront.

Thank you again to those who continue to support us and respect that these measures are in place for the health, safety and welfare of everyone involved.
