Hi just to let you know we haven't hatch any eggs or have any POL, this stopped during lockdown. We may start up again in the future and will put a post on

We have had lots of enquiries these last several weeks for our ISA brown hens and we have been reluctant to let any go to keep up with our egg demand, however; I am pleased to say as of Saturday our new stock will be in and available to purchase from Sunday onwards.

They are £10 each and available on an appointment basis only and only at the collection point at the farm as we are still not open to the public.

We are no longer selling any of our flock till further notice due to the current situation and our need to supply eggs to people self isolating and looking after all our customers. Sorry to let anyone down we hope you understand during this worrying hard time. Keep safe and hope to see you all soon when things get back to normal best wishes Matthew and Mel.

All our cockerels are proving very fertile we have some new flock to add soon aswell as one of Mel's favourite breeds coming back to Shawbriggs Farm.
Our POL's are proving very popular again for Spring with quite a few already gone to lovely new homes it's so nice to see our regular customers each Spring too so we will keeeeep hatching 🐣

We have been quiet this past 12 months while we have been concentrating on our new little tea room venture, this is nearly finished at shawbriggs farm shop and we are now getting back on with our poultry breeds for next year and we finally have just introduced 50 new POL hens for our eggs at the shop.

We are also super excited to have managed to get our Silver laced barnevelders which will be ready for next years hatching and fertile eggs.
