Drax, with Zorin’s Legacy for rehoming, this beautiful boy is 2, hes a mali x akita and everything friendly. Drax lives life in the fast lane, hes all go go go and would ideally suit someone who wants to do classes, agility, running or hiking. Drax will not be rehomed with children under 5 or a home with small furries because its just not fair to test his prey drive like that. Adoption is subject to meet and greets and a home check.
Please share because I know his people are out there, doing boring hikes on their own! 🐕♥️🐕

We currently have a few dogs, including Norman and Charlie who are really struggling to maintain weight. The cost of food for our large breed dogs is already high, adding in extra meals, increasing volume, upping vitamins etc is really difficult as just a small rescue. Any help anyone can give, even if its just a share, would be really appreciated.

To say I am absolutely blown away by this boy is an understatement. He has been through more than any dog ever should, abandoned in a field he couldn't escape, literally left to die, found emaciated, covered in scars by a random person horseriding. We fed him 2-4 hourly and nursed him back to health but now he can be an absolute handful, he has a very high arousal rate and can become grabby because in all truth, the world overwhelms him. We take 3 steps forward and sometimes 4 steps backward but his courage and resilience never fade. Every Day he just wants to please, even if he doesn't always know how. Today, in our usual training session, I let him have a few moments here and there to sniff, find a toy, choose to return and every single time, he made the decision to disengage with distractions and return to focus with me. Charlie, you are an inspiration and we love you ❤️
