Reseeding one of our retirement livery paddocks today with a specific meadow grass only seed mix for horses.
Easier to eat and digest for our retirement horses with older teeth than a rye grass mix and we can also make some super nice hay from it for them for the winter.

Thinking of retirement livery?
We have places available for a mannered and sociable non laminitis prone pony or a smaller horse to join with our veterans group.
We are a quality dedicated retirement livery only yard with excellent facilities in a safe, idyllic and very peaceful setting.
We limit the amount of horses we take so they have individual care and very good grazing on nice ground all year round. The horses have excellent field shelters and also large airy stables when required.
We live on site and offer over 40 years of professional experience to care for your horse 24/7. Viewings are very welcome as is a phone call for more information.

After having a look around at hay made this year.
We took delivery this morning of some super nice meadow hay that is perfect for my retirement liveries.
Great to have it in the barn and to know we have plenty going forward for our guys.
