🌹🐾 CAN YOU HELP US BUY A MUCH-NEEDED HOSPITALISATION CAGE? 🐾🌹

As I've been doing more Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) work with feral cats, I've realised just how important it is to have the right equipment.

We desperately need a specialist hospitalisation cage to safely keep feral cats overnight before they go for spaying or neutering, and while they recover afterwards. ❤️

This cage has a divider, allowing us to safely provide food, water and clean up without having to handle frightened feral cats.

🐾 The total cost is £167.03, including VAT and delivery.

It's an investment that will help us care for so many feral cats in the future.

❤️ If anyone could spare even £1 or £2 towards it, we'd be incredibly grateful.

❤️ Yorkshire Rose Cat Rescue ❤️

We're desperately in need of some towels and blankets for the cats and kittens currently in our care! 🐱🐾

With so many little ones coming into rescue, we're constantly getting through bedding, washing and changing everything to keep them clean, warm and comfortable. 🥰

🧺 We're looking for:

- Old or unwanted towels
- Fleece blankets
- Soft, washable blankets

They don't need to be new or fancy! As long as they're clean and in usable condition, we'd be incredibly grateful. ❤️

If you're having a clear-out or have anything tucked away in a cupboard that you no longer need, please consider donating it to our rescue.

Every little donation makes a huge difference to our rescue babies! 🐈💕

🐾 An update on the little family from the cameras the other night ❤️

Mum and her three babies went to foster with the lovely Nicola today, who’s going to work her magic on them. 🥰

They’re very scared and nervous, so it’ll take a while for them to come round. With time, patience and lots of gentle reassurance, they’ll be able to settle at their own pace. I can already tell these babies are going to be absolute little love bugs. ❤️

🐾 Three little lives now safe ❤️

This morning I headed over to Worksop to collect these three kittens after receiving a phone call yesterday asking if I could help.

Their mum sadly passed away four days ago, and the situation they were in meant they needed to be removed urgently. 💔 Once I heard what was happening, my answer was simple: “Get them out, and I’ll sort a foster space.”

It’s hard to understand how animals end up in situations like this, but I’m just so relieved we managed to get these babies somewhere safe.

We brought them back, fed them and looked after them for a couple of hours before a foster space became available with the lovely Jessica, who has very kindly taken all three in. 🥰

Jessica, I’m so grateful to have you on board. Knowing these babies are going to be loved and very well looked after means so much. ❤️

More updates will follow once they’ve had time to settle. For tonight, they’re safe, fed and cared for — exactly where they deserve to be. 🐾

And before anyone worries about the photos — yes, that’s kitten milk in their bowl, not cow’s milk! 🍼

🚨🐾 DESPERATELY NEEDED – EXTRA LARGE DOG CRATES! 🐾🚨

🌹 Yorkshire Rose Cat Rescue needs your help! ❤️

With the amazing response we've had to our foster appeal, I'm now desperately trying to get everything organised and ready for our new foster carers! 🐱❤️

One thing we are really struggling for at the moment is EXTRA LARGE DOG CRATES / CAGES!

These are needed so our foster carers can safely house cats and kittens during their initial 2-week quarantine period, keeping them separate from other animals in the home.

🐾 Do you have an extra large dog crate sitting in your garage, shed or spare room that you no longer use?

If so, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get in touch! 🙏❤️

We would be incredibly grateful for any that could be donated to the rescue.

Even better, if you're able to drop them off at my home in Barnsley, that would be a MASSIVE help! ❤️

I'm trying to get as many foster homes set up as possible so we can continue helping the cats and kittens that desperately need somewhere safe to go.

Every crate donated means another foster home can potentially be ready to help. 🐱🏡

🌹🐾 Watching our new intakes through the cameras while they settle in 🥰🐾

A grey mamma cat and three of her babies — one tabby, one black and one fluffy black kitten ❤️ We’re still waiting to catch the last baby, which will make four kittens altogether.

I’ve been holding space for this little family because they really needed to come into safety. I’ve had the little tabby for a few days, and Donna has since caught the other two babies and mum.

Mum has now been spayed, and they’ll be going into foster with Nicola. We’re giving mum time to settle and a chance to show us whether she’s friendly. If she’s suited to life in a home, she’ll be up for adoption when she’s ready too ❤️

They aren’t ready for adoption, so please don’t send enquiries or messages about adopting them yet. We’ll share updates when they’re ready.

Thank you to Donna for helping get them safe and Nicola for opening her home to this little family 🐾
