☀️🍔 With temperatures on the rise over summer it’s the perfect time to fire up the BBQ, but don’t forget about our pets 🐾

Here are 7 simple ways to help keep them safe during BBQ season 🐶💛

🔥 Keep pets away from hot BBQs & disposable grills
🍗 Avoid giving cooked bones or fatty scraps
🍺 Keep alcohol & kebab sticks out of reach
🌭 Watch out for onions, corn cobs & chocolate
💧 Make sure plenty of fresh water is available
🌳 Provide shade & cool places to rest
🚪 Give nervous pets a quiet space away from guests & noise

In this hot weather please remember our wildlife will be struggling too 💔☀️
Birds, hedgehogs, foxes and other animals will all be searching for water, especially during these really hot days. Putting out a small bowl of fresh water in your garden, driveway or outside your house could make a huge difference 🦔🦊🐦
Just remember to top it up regularly and place it somewhere shady if possible 💧
It’s such a small thing to do but it could help save a life ❤️
