Everyone loves dogs and wants a fuss but this can really help.

Dogs are part of so many families, but not every dog wants to be approached, touched or cuddled by strangers.

Teaching children a few simple rules can make meeting dogs safer, calmer and happier for everyone. 🐾

✔️ Ask first
✔️ Let the dog come to you
✔️ Gently stroke their side or chest
✔️ If they move away, give them space

And remember — no hugging, chasing or getting face-to-face with a dog.

A little understanding can make a BIG difference. ❤️

Halloween can be lots of fun for us humans, but for our cats it can be a very different experience! 👻

Strangers at the door, lots of knocking and doorbells, people in unusual costumes, spooky decorations and the constant opening of the front door can all be stressful and frightening for our feline friends. 😿

Cats are creatures of habit and many prefer their home life to stay nice and predictable — so Halloween can be a bit of a shock to the system!

🐾 A few simple things can help make the evening easier for them.

🦴🐶 COOKED OR UNCOOKED? — WHEN IT COMES TO BONES, IT MATTERS! 🐶🦴

We often get asked about giving dogs bones, so here’s an important one to remember:

🚫🔥 COOKED BONES ARE NOT SAFE FOR DOGS — AT ANY TIME.

Cooking changes the structure of bones, making them more brittle and prone to splintering. Those sharp fragments can cause serious problems if swallowed, including choking, injuries to the mouth or throat, or damage further along the digestive tract.

🐾 Raw bones are different, but they still need to be appropriate for the individual dog and given responsibly.

It’s getting to that time of year again where we share a few little helpful hints and tips for Halloween when you have Dogs. 🐶🐱

Halloween can be great fun for us, but for our four-legged family members it can sometimes be rather daunting and unsettling. 👻 The costumes, decorations, doorbell ringing, visitors and unfamiliar noises can all be a little much for some pets.

So, as always, we want to help you make Halloween as safe, calm and stress-free as possible for your furry friends. 🐾❤️

🥩 RAW ROLLS ARE DUE TODAY TOO! — that’s our 2nd Raw Rolls order of the week! 😱

We simply couldn’t keep those freezers topped up, so we’ve managed to pull in an express emergency top-up to keep you all stocked! 🙌 And there’s another Raw Rolls delivery coming again on Tuesday! 💪

Our Durham delivery arrived yesterday so including this we are also stocked up on:

So we should be well stocked and ready for the weekend! 🎉

Southcliffe is doing okay for now, but we’ve got another delivery arriving Tuesday to replenish the flavours that are starting to run low.
