Pets

For those they haven’t owned
I can see your reason why
But those that have can understand
How they can help you fly

Make you laugh, make you cry
Keep you focused on the now
How you live without them
You’ll often question how

A member of the family
Whether big or whether small
Furry, feathered, in a shell
You’ve got to love them all

There for when you’re lonely
When you need some tlc
Asking very little
loving unconditionally

So understand those owners
With a pet close to their heart
Their a member of their family
That is hard to be without

Goodbye from Clouseau...

I think I need a holiday
Somewhere far away
I don’t think I’ll be back
I think I’m going to stay

Just thought I’d say a thank you
To those that gave me love
I’m taking all that with me
To the great big field above

So I’m going to miss you all
But please don’t be too sad
My life was full of smiles
It’s the best a dog has had…..xx

My cat…..

I thought my cat was lucky
but I realise it’s me
That fact that she still sticks around
Fills me up with glee

She’s tells me when she’s hungry
and when she’s heading out
She even lets me get the door
She’s the boss, there is not doubt

But if I’m well behaved
She’s gives that steady purr
and it’s all I need to feel content
To know that I have her…..
