Paw Power Home Dog Boarding Home dog boarding service based on Barugh Green, Barnsley. To save time, we have the following conditions for any dog boarding:
1.

Dog must be neutered / spayed. • 2. Dog must be up to date with vaccinations or have an up to date titre test - documentation will be requested. • 3. A deposii will be taken to secure a booking and payment must be made in full before boarding commences.

This weekend, I have been suffering with a man-cold which, as we all know, is the worst kind of cold you can get. Luckily, we happened to be looking after my beautiful buddy, Luna and she was on hand with plenty of sympathetic cuddles. As always, it was a real treat to have her with us and we both look forward to seeing her again very soon. Thank you, Lunabubbles!!! xx

We've just had another great week at Paw Power HQ thanks to a visit from our little mate, Bertie! This time, I played him my new Hawkwind album and he seemed a little spaced out after it. I think I'm going to stick to Abba and David Bowie in future so that he doesn't float home! As usual, Bertie and I had some lovely walks and even better cuddles. Another awesome stay. We'll see you next year, Bertie and thank you again. xx

We have had two weeks of fantastic fun with the ever-entertaining Molly and Benji.

They were very excited to be on their holidays when they arrived and they were also overjoyed when their hoomans came to pick them up. Below you will see that Molly is going for the Guinness world record for the longest dog tongue and Benji is getting a tickle from the most awkward angle Frances could muster!!!

All in all, we have had an awesome two weeks so yet again, thank you so much Molly and Benji. xx

Yet again, it's been a week since our last boarder and, like my previous write-up, this comes to you somewhat belatedly - my apologies.

We had an awesome couple of weeks (or slightly less than to be more accurate) with the magical Merlin. Merlin conjured up his usual outstanding behaviour and we spent lots of time with the ball in our secure back garden. As soon as he arrived, he slipped straight back into boarding mode like it was second nature.

It was lovely to hang out with you again and we look forward to your next visit, Merlin. Thank you. xx

A week ago (yes, it's taken me this long to do the write-up - "sloppy work, Casper, sloppy work, lad!") we had the absolute privilege of a return visit from our dashing young friend, Dash!

There was no adjustment necessary - he was straight into boarding mode. No sooner had his hooman Mum left, he was wearing my slippers and smoking my pipe (metaphorically speaking of course - I don't smoke and only have one pair of slippers which would not suffice even if a dog's paws could fit into.....).....anyway...
...we had a great time and, as I've mentioned before, despite being in his senior years, Dash is faster than the majority of our boarders when out walking so he actually takes me for a walk.

Regardless of the gruelling exercise regime that he put me through, a splendid time was had by all and we can't wait for Dash's next stay. Thank you, Mr. Dash. xx

It's been a while but they say all great things are worth waiting for...

Great things like the return of Benji and Charlie.

It's difficult to write this without mentioning the massive change in dynamic since the unexpected passing of big Brother Archie and as this was their first boarding as a duo with us, it was quite 'the elephant in the room'.

We did however have an awesome weekend - ball games for Benji and cuddles for Charlie (and Benji as well!!!). Biscuits were consumed en masse and Uncle Phil had his little entourage wherever he went, however short the journey i.e. from the sofa to the occasional tables and back. It was absolutely wonderful to see you both again and we can't wait until your next stay - thanks, guys! xx

I often say to people whose dogs are returning for another visit, 'we can't wait to see him/her/them'. It's not said as a throwaway pleasantry - I mean every word of it every time I say it. Fran and I regularly have the 'who have we got next?' discussion and the answer is always a source of joy and excitement for us.

You can imagine our excitement a couple of weeks ago when the answer to that question was Georgie and Loui!!!

Georgie and Loui visited for a long stay and considering the duration, the odd storm and the recent rain, they have yet again aced their boarding skills. Shadowing my every move for over a fortnight, this dynamic duo have been amazing although they often try to walk, with strength, in opposite directions which means I now have arms like Mr. Tickle. Nevertheless, Fran and I have enjoyed every second of their stay and.......you've guessed it....we can't wait to see them again! Thanks guys. xx

The other doggy that stayed with us recently gets his own post on account of him being a newbie.

Introducing the beautiful apricot Cockapoo, Rex. Considering this was Rex's first time boarding with us, it was as if he'd visited a previous 200 times!!!! We became instant buddies and engaged in an infinite number of ball games.

Rex was an absolute gentleman and we sincerely hope to see him again. - Thanks, Rex.

Catch Up!!!

Hi all. Since my unwarranted suspension from Facebook, we've had visits from no less than 5 doggies!!!!

The four in this first post are returning visitors so I hope they all wont mind sharing the post with other doggies.

In no particular order other than clockwise from top-left, we have Enzo, Willow, Dora and Luna. (Congratulations to Willow's hoomans who got married while Willow stayed with us). All four of the afore-mentioned were as awesome as ever and we loved having them all stay with us. Until next time....###x
