🐾😂 NEXT WEEKEND… WE’VE CLEARLY FORGOTTEN WHAT A QUIET WEEKEND LOOKS LIKE! 😂🐾

Holmes Hounds have a BIG double-event weekend coming up… and apparently one event just wasn’t enough for us! 🤦‍♂️🤣

🌾 SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER — PENISTONE SHOW
Our favourite show of the year is back! ❤️ We’re bringing our NEW bigger set-up, NEW look, NEW treats and enough doggy goodies to seriously test your bank balance. 👀💳🐶

🐶 SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER — POOCHES IN THE PARK
📍 Millhouses Park, Sheffield
⏰ 11am – 4pm

We’ll be joining Sheffield’s biggest charity dog show in support of Thornberry Animal Sanctuary — expect dog show classes, agility, stalls and an entire park full of dogs… so basically our idea of heaven. 😂❤️

And somehow, between the two events, we’ll be bringing mountains of natural treats, gourmet sausages, long-lasting chews, doggy bakery goodies, enrichment toys, accessories and plenty of new arrivals! 🦴🌭🧁

By Sunday at 4pm we’ll probably be held together by coffee, dog hair and questionable life choices… but we CAN’T WAIT! 🤣☕🐾

Two huge events.
Two days.
Hundreds of dogs.
An unreasonable amount of treats.

WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?! 😂🐶

Yes, you read that right — EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!

⏰ We’re open 365 days a year, 6:30am – 11:30pm

At the moment, during these hours you can access our Milk Shed, and the Silo is back open too — perfect for those cute festive pics with the 6 Christmas-flavour vending machines inside ✨

🥛🛖 The Milk Shed includes:
•2 standard milk vending machines
•1 protein milk vending machine
•2 vending machines for bottles and goodie
•Our new locker venders, stocked with MFTH merch and other food items like sacks of spuds and trays of eggs

🚪 Please don’t be a plonker and get yourself stuck behind the gates after 11:30pm — we don’t want to disturb the cows’ shut-eye! 🐮

It’s almost time for one of the biggest dates in the Holmes Hounds calendar… Pen*stone Agricultural Show! ❤️

⏰ From 8am

Pen*stone Show is without a doubt one of our favourite events of the entire year, and we’re SO excited to be returning for our 3rd year running! 🥳

But this year… we may have got a little carried away. 😂

✨ NEW TREATS
✨ NEW PRODUCTS
✨ NEW SET-UP
✨ NEW LOOK
✨ And a MUCH BIGGER Holmes Hounds stall!

We’ve upgraded our event space, which means we can finally bring even more of the Holmes Hounds range with us. Basically, if your dog thought our stall was dangerous for your bank account before… good luck this year. 👀💳🐶😂

Expect mountains of 100% natural treats, gourmet sausages, training treats, long-lasting chews, doggy bakery goodies, enrichment toys, accessories and plenty of exciting new arrivals making their event debut! 🦴🌭🧁🧩

And of course, Charlie & Lola will have made sure there’s something for every pup — from the tiny treat thief to the professional chew destroyer. 😂🐾

There’s something really special about Pen*stone Show. We absolutely love the atmosphere, seeing so many of our regular customers and meeting hundreds of new four-legged faces along the way. ❤️

🐾❤️ MARSHALL’S YARD… YOU’VE DONE IT AGAIN! ❤️🐾

What an absolutely brilliant day at Marshall's Yard, Gainsborough for the Lunch Fest! 🎉

A HUGE thank you to every single person who stopped by our stall today — whether you stocked up on your dog’s favourites, discovered us for the first time, came over for a chat or were simply being dragged in our direction by a dog who could smell the sausages from 3 streets away. 😂🌭🐶

We absolutely LOVE coming back to Marshall’s Yard and seeing so many familiar faces — both the two-legged and four-legged variety! 🥰

And to the dogs who sat beautifully staring at us with those “I’ve never been fed before” eyes… we know your game. 👀😂 Your humans told us you have an entire cupboard of Holmes Hounds treats at home!

Days like today really remind us why we love doing what we do. Every purchase, recommendation, share and little chat at our stall supports our small family business, and we genuinely appreciate every one of you. ❤️

We hope there are plenty of happy pups tucking into their goodies tonight… although judging by some of you, we’re not convinced the treats even made it out of Marshall’s Yard car park! 🤣🐾

🐾 DAY OFF = GIRLS’ DAY! 🐾

A rare day off for Holmes Hounds today, so obviously it had to be spent with the girls… Charlie & Lola! 🐶💕

First stop — walkies around Cudworth Park! 🌳🍂

Charlie was doing what Charlie does best… being a Beagle. 😂 Nose permanently glued to the floor, followed by a good old roll around in the leaves because apparently walking through them like a normal dog just isn’t an option. 🤦‍♂️🍁

Lola, on the other hand, was absolutely strutting her stuff like she owns the gaff. 💅🐾
Head up, hair flowing… “Yes peasants, you may admire me.” 😂👑

Then it was off to see Nan! ❤️

Which of course means treats, cuddles and a drink… followed by the compulsory full investigation of Nan’s garden. 🔎🌿 Apparently absolutely NOTHING can have changed since the last visit without Charlie & Lola being informed about it. 😂

No stalls, no packing orders, no counting sausages today… just walkies, Nan’s house and quality time with the Holmes Hounds girls. 🥰🐾

Safe to say… they’ve had a better day off than I have — I’ve just been the chauffeur! 😂🚗🐶🐶
