I had the absolute pleasure of looking after these gorgeous kitties for Janet who is a volunteer for PAW cat rescue centre.

Janet approached Waggy Tails to ask if we could be available to look after her foster cats whilst she takes her husband away for a few days. It’s been the first time in a few years they’ve managed to get away due to her husband sadly being ill but thanks to Waggy tails she was able to enjoy a nice relaxing few days.

These are the kind of jobs we love best, where people haven’t been away for a while either due to similar as Janet and there’s been illnesses or the fact they don’t have anyone to see to their fur babies and we can help them.

The foster babies they had in whilst they were away were, muffin (black cat), Annabelle and Daisy (white tortoise shell) and Marigold (long haired tortoise shell) all of which are looking for their forever home 🏡 🐈

All the girls are super super friendly and have loved noting more than playtime and lots of fuss. So if you or if you know of anyone who would be looking to adopt a cat please let me know and I can get you in touch with Janet.

A few weeks ago we had the absolute pleasure of being wedding chaperones for the very handsome Oscar 🤍🐾

Dressed to impress in his tuxedo, Oscar was the perfect guest while celebrating one of the most special days with his humans. Posing for photos with the beautiful couple, he took his role very seriously ✨

We’ll be honest… we’re not always the most active on social media.

There’s a lot of pressure as a small business (especially in the dog walking world) to always be posting, to look picture perfect, and to constantly be “showing up” online.

But the truth is, sometimes we just don’t have the headspace for it. And that’s okay.

Because behind the scenes, we’re busy doing what actually matters caring for your dogs, showing up every day, and putting our energy into the work itself rather than how it looks online.

The reality is, around 90% of our new enquiries come from recommendations. And to us, that speaks volumes.

It means people trust us. It means our clients are happy. And it means the love and care we give your dogs is being noticed even when we’re a bit quiet on here.

We’ve never wanted to be a business that just looks good online, we want to be one that genuinely feels good to be part of. One that people talk about, recommend, and come back to because of the care and trust we build every single day.

Social media is just a small snapshot of what we do. The real work happens out on the walks, in the muddy fields, in the little moments that don’t always make it onto a post but mean everything to us and your dogs.

So if we’re a little quieter sometimes, just know it’s because we’re out doing what we do best 🐾

And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Yesterday was a little bit special 🐑💛

I got to help feed one of Ned’s lambs… and honestly, it completely made my day. There’s just something so lovely about those moments, especially when they involve tiny, hungry lambs and a lot of trust, and I’ve been lucky enough now to help feed quite a few thanks to for trusting me with the babies 🐑

Ned, my bestie, of course supervised the whole thing like the good boy he is 🐾 making sure everything was done properly (or at least pretending to!).

It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do, not just the walks, but the bonds, the trust, and the little unexpected highlights along the way ✨

Everyone say hello to the lovely Bob, a mixed breed rescue with the biggest heart 💛

Bob didn’t have the easiest start in life, but look at him now living his absolute best life and finally getting the love he truly deserves.

Like many rescue dogs, Bob can be a little reactive, so he’ll be enjoying calm, tailored solo walks where he can feel safe, supported, and understood every step of the way.

Dogs like Bob are so often misunderstood, but once they let you in… there is nothing more special. That moment when a dog doesn’t just tolerate you anymore, but chooses to trust you and showers you with love, it’s everything 🥹

We feel so lucky to be part of Bob’s journey and can’t wait to build that bond with him 🐶
