🐾 Today is national pet Memorial Day and we are taking a moment to remember all the special animals who have crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈✨

🐾 They may no longer be by our side, but they are forever in our hearts. Whether you are lighting a candle, visiting a favorite walking spot, or looking through old photos, we are sending our love to our entire community. Our pets give us a lifetime of love, and it’s only natural that we miss them deeply.

🐾 You can always visit the RSPCA online pet loss toolkit for support, guidance, and real-life stories to help you navigate the pain of pet loss and honour the bond you shared.

🐾 Every pet leaves a pawprint that stays with us forever. Welcoming another pet doesn’t replace the ones we’ve lost — it simply lets us pass on the love they gave us and give another animal the home they deserve.

🐱 ZIVA has been with us for a while, and has spent most of her young life in foster care. She is energetic, inquisitive, and loves to explore. Ziva is desperate to go outdoors, so she’s looking for a home in a safe area that’s away from busy roads where she can safely enjoy some adventures. She needs an adult-only home and needs to be an only pet too. Could Ziva have a home with you?

🐱 HELP WITH CAT NEUTERING:

If you have an un‑neutered cat, please do the right thing and book them in for neutering. Rescue centres—both locally and nationally—are overflowing with unwanted cats, and this situation is entirely preventable.

We are happy to support owners in our branch area who may struggle with the cost of neutering at a local veterinary practice. Please email us to discuss how we can help.

Important: While we are willing to offer financial assistance to reduce the numbers of unwanted cats, we do ask for a donation towards the cost. Unfortunately we have had instances where people have attempted to book appointments directly with the vets to try and avoid making a contribution, or they have tried to add extra services for free, such as vaccinations or flea and worm treatments.

Appointments under this scheme cannot be arranged through the vets directly. You must contact us first so we can organise and authorise everything correctly. The vets we use will always require our authorisation for any appointments on our scheme.

Any additional treatments or services that are added to the appointment (beyond neutering) will always remain the owner’s responsibility to pay for in full.
